Omschrijving onderdeel 3, Transformatorhuisje
Achter de toegangshekken van de linker oprijlaan staat een transformatorhuisje. Toen Groeneveld in 1925 in bezit kwam van de kunsthandelaar C. van der Feer Lader, liet hij naar verluid voor het dorp Hulshorst een elektriciteitsnet aanleggen. Het onderhavige trafohuisje kwam tussen 1924 en 1930 tot stand. Het staat op een rechthoekige plattegrond en is opgetrokken van baksteen met een wit geverfde pleisterlaag. De plint is donker gekleurd. Op halve hoogte loopt een horizontale band waarboven de gevel iets uitkraagt. Het huisje wordt afgesloten door een plat dak. Boven de rechthoekige stalen deur midden in de voorgevel bevindt zich een terug liggend tableau van vier tegels breed met 'PROVINCIALE ELECTRICITEITSWERKEN', uitgevoerd in geel geglazuurde letters in reliëf, geflankeerd door twee wapenschilden. De linker gevel is voorzien van een houten deur. In alle gevels bevinden zich kleine ontluchtingsroosters in de plint en onder de kap. Grotere roosters zijn geplaatst boven de deur in de linker gevel en in de achtergevels. De rechter gevel is blind.

Description component 3, Transformer house
Behind the entrance gates of the left access drive stands a transformer house. When Groeneveld came into the possession of art dealer C. van der Feer Lader in 1925, he reportedly had an electricity network laid for the village of Hulshorst. The present transformer house was built between 1924 and 1930. It stands on a rectangular floor plan and is built of brick with a white painted plaster layer. The plinth is dark coloured. Halfway up runs a horizontal band above which the facade slightly cantilevers. The house is closed off by a flat roof. Above the rectangular steel door in the middle of the front facade is a recessed panel of four tiles wide with 'PROVINCIALE ELECTRICITEITSWERKEN', executed in yellow glazed relief lettering, flanked by two coats of arms. The left facade is fitted with a wooden door. In all facades are small ventilation grilles in the plinth and under the eaves. Larger grilles are placed above the door in the left facade and in the rear facades. The right facade is blank.
