Inleiding
Het boerderijcomplex DE VELDINK, deel uitmakend van historische buitenplaats Den Aalshorst, bestaat uit een boerderij, met aangebouwde woonruimte (als vergroting van het voormalige bakhuis) (13a), twee kapbergen (13b en 13c) en kleine stal (13d).
Omschrijving
Middenlangsdeel BOERDERIJ De Veldink (13a) op rechthoekige plattegrond onder een met pannen en riet gedekt wolfdak, in de voorgevel met jaartalankers gedateerd 1737. In de achtergevel een jaartalsteentje met 1937. In dat jaar is de schuur met een gebintvak naar achteren toe verlengd. In de voorgevel zit de toegang met bovenlicht en vensters met roedeverdeling; de grote vensters met luiken behangen. De achtergevel heeft getoogde deeldeuren met zijlichten, met daarboven een hooiluik. Lage getoogde mestdeuren ter weerszijden. Vlechtingen langs de dakrand. De linker- en rechterzijgevel hebben afwisselend houten stalramen en mestdeuren. Aan de linkerzijde is een kleine woning aangebouwd omstreeks 1970 ter plaatse van een bakhuis.

Description
Central-lengthwise section FARMHOUSE De Veldink (13a) on a rectangular floor plan under a half-hipped roof covered with tiles and thatch, in the front gable with date anchors dated 1737. In the rear gable a date stone with 1937. In that year the barn was extended backwards by one timber bay. The front gable contains the entrance with fanlight and windows with glazing bars; the large windows with shutters attached. The rear gable has arched partition doors with side lights, with a hay door above. Low arched dung doors on either side. Wattle along the eaves. The left and right side gables have alternating wooden stable windows and dung doors. On the left side a small dwelling has been built around 1970 in place of a bakehouse.
