DE GIETSELSCHE BROUWERIJ
Monumentaal voorhuis, met links achter een bedrijfsgedeelte met middenlangsdeel (XIX en ouder). Het geheel is opgetrokken uit baksteen. In de 15de eeuw waren er op deze plek markevergaderingen. In het pand waren o.a. in het verleden een boerderij, een uitspanning met gelagkamer en in 1600 een herberg Nimwegen gevestigd. Vanaf 1700 werd hier bier gebrouwen, o.a. voor kasteel Bussloo en voor de ambtsjonkers van de Poll. De Gietelsche Brouwerij dankt haar naam aan het buurtschap Gietelo (Gemeente Voorst). De brouwerij was gelegen langs de weg Deventer-Zutphen op een kruispunt van de weg naar Loenen en Arnhem en had een goede watertoevoer. Het wit bepleisterde voorhuis met kelders, begane grond en zolderverdieping, heeft een grijs gepleisterd plint en een geprofileerde houten bakgoot met fries. Het geheel is afgesloten door middel van een schilddak, gedekt met de rode muldepannen. Het boerderijgedeelte met de rustiek en witgepleisterde voorgevel, is afgesloten door middel van een rietgedekt zadeldak met wolfseind. De onderzijde van het rechter dakschild is gedekt met rode en deels met gesmoorde oud Hollandse dakpannen. Het voorhuis heeft 6-ruits vensters met een empire schuifraam, een bepleisterde bakstenen dorpel en een vlakke bepleisterde vensteromlijsting. De vensters hebben binnenluiken. De voorgevel heeft een toegangsdeur met bovenlicht. Ter plaatse van de zolderverdieping in voor- en linker- zijgevel, zijn er 2-ruits gietijzeren vensters met tuimelramen. De voorgevel van het bedrijfsgedeelte, heeft een 4-ruits venster met opgeklampte luiken. In de linkerzijgevel zijn twee mestgangdeuren in een houten kozijn en halfronde gietijzeren vensters met vorkmotief. Ter rechterzijde een 4-ruits venster met diefijzers en een opgeklampt luik. De achtergevel met vlechtingen, heeft licht getoogde deeldeuren in een houten kozijn; oorspronkelijk met een stiepelpaal. Ter weerszijden een getoogd 4-ruits houten venster en daarnaast een opgeklampte staldeur in een houten kozijn. De rechterzijgevel, grotendeels gemoderniseerd, heeft getoogde gietijzeren stalvensters en een opgeklampte staldeur in een houten kozijn. Als laatste restant van een rosmolen is voor op de deel nog een cirkelvormig klinkerpad te zien, waar het paard (ros) de molen voortbewoog.

THE GIETSELSCHE BREWERY
Monumental front house, with a business section to the left rear with central lengthwise section (19th century and older). The whole is constructed of brick. In the 15th century market assemblies were held at this location. The building formerly housed, among other things, a farmhouse, a public house with taproom and in 1600 a tavern Nimwegen. From 1700 beer was brewed here, among other things for castle Bussloo and for the bailiffs of de Poll. The Gietselsche Brewery takes its name from the hamlet Gietelo (Municipality Voorst). The brewery was situated along the road Deventer-Zutphen at a crossroads with the road to Loenen and Arnhem and had good water supply. The white rendered front house with cellars, ground floor and attic storey, has a grey rendered plinth and a moulded wooden gutter with frieze. The whole is covered by means of a hipped roof, tiled with red curved tiles. The farmhouse section with rusticated and white rendered front facade, is covered by means of a thatch-covered gabled roof with half-hipped end. The underside of the right roof panel is covered with red and partly with suppressed old Dutch roof tiles. The front facade has an entrance door with fanlight. At the level of the attic storey in front and left side facade, there are 2-pane cast-iron windows with tilt windows. The front facade of the business section has a 4-pane window with clamped shutters. In the left side facade are two dung passage doors in a wooden frame and semi-circular cast-iron windows with fork motif. On the right side a 4-pane window with thief bars and a clamped shutter. The rear facade with wattling has slightly arched part doors in a wooden frame; originally with a stoup post. On either side a arched 4-pane wooden window and beside it a clamped stable door in a wooden frame. The right side facade, largely modernised, has arched cast-iron stable windows and a clamped stable door in a wooden frame. As the last remnant of a horse mill, a circular clinker path can still be seen at the front of the barn floor, where the horse (ros) propelled the mill.
