Omschrijving onderdeel 9:
TUINMUUR uit de tweede helft van de 18de eeuw als afsluiting van de voormalige Nieuwe Kom, thans begraafplaats van de Hernhuttergemeente, gelegen achter de bebouwing van het Zusterplein. De in baksteen opgetrokken muur heeft een regelmatige indeling met pijlers afgesloten met afdekstukken waartussen in kruisverband gemetselde muurdelen afgesloten met een uitstekende rollaag en afdeklijst. Halverwege een poortdoorgang aansluitend aan een houten brug over de achterliggende sloot.

TUINMUUR behorende bij Slot Zeist is in cultuurhistorisch opzicht van algemeen belang

Description of component 9:
GARDEN WALL from the second half of the 18th century as a closure of the former Nieuwe Kom, now burial ground of the Moravian congregation, situated behind the buildings of the Zusterplein. The brick-built wall has a regular layout with piers topped with coping stones between which walls laid in alternating bond are topped with a projecting roll moulding and coping list. Halfway along a passage doorway adjoining a wooden bridge over the drainage ditch behind.
