Building 9 stands detached, somewhat set back in a wooded environment, to the southeast of number 8, on the southern side of the northern branch of the southernmost split on Groot-Heidekamp. Description

Single-storey, medium-sized brick MILITARY BARRACKS with approximately 50 cm thick external walls and partly executed with a crawl space, on a rectangular floor plan, covered by a hipped roof lined with corrugated concrete tiles and slightly splayed at the lower edge. In the northern end gable / main gable on the left an entrance opening with wooden lattice door and a four-part fanlight, and to the right of this two window openings with concrete cill, containing above four-pane casement windows and below double wooden inward-opening two-pane casement windows, beneath the cill furnished with sheet steel shutters with a green and white painted hourglass motif. In the southern end gable a pair of comparable window openings; the western long gable with four and the eastern with five comparable window openings. Gutters all around. The interior has been partly modernized. A wooden staircase with painted wall panelling and tile band characteristic of the construction period is still partly intact.
