TANKGRACHT, natte gracht van 10-14 meter breedte als deel van de hoofdverdedigingslijn, aangelegd naar ontwerp van de genie van de Duitse Landmacht (General der Pioniere und Festungen) van het Obercommando des Heeres te Berlijn Aangelegd in 1942-1943 met gedeeltelijke gebruikmaking van al bestaande watergangen. Onderdeel van het complex Landfront Vlissingen, binnen de tankgracht met kazematten ten oosten van het kanaal door Walcheren en tankmuur bij Ritthem.

Description
ANTI-TANK DITCH, wet ditch of 10-14 metres width as part of the main defensive line, constructed according to the design of the engineering corps of the German Army (General der Pioniere und Festungen) of the Obercommando des Heeres in Berlin. Constructed in 1942-1943 with partial use of existing watercourses. Component of the Landfront Vlissingen complex, within the anti-tank ditch with casemates east of the canal through Walcheren and anti-tank wall at Ritthem.
