Omschrijving
TELEFOONSCHAKELPOST (Kabelschaltstelle) uit 1943, naar ontwerp van de genie van de Duitse Landmacht (General der Pioniere und Festungen) van het Obercommando des Heeres te Berlijn. Uitgevoerd met gebruikmaking van houtbekisting en gecamoufleerd als schuurtje met puntdak. Staat 400 meter buiten de hoofdverdedigingslinie en groepeerde de telefoonkabels van een drietal nabij gelegen bunkers en was verbonden met de commandoposten in Nieuw Abeele, Vlissingen en Oost Walcheren. Onderdeel van het complex Landfront Vlissingen, binnen de tankgracht met kazematten tussen Stützpunkt Kolberg (Steunpunt Koudekerke) tot aan het Kanaal door Walcheren (Nieuw Vlissingseweg bij Middelburg).

Description
TELEPHONE EXCHANGE POST (Kabelschaltstelle) from 1943, according to the design of the engineers of the German Army (General der Pioniere und Festungen) of the Obercommando des Heeres in Berlin. Executed using timber formwork and camouflaged as a small shed with a gabled roof. Stands 400 metres outside the main defence line and grouped the telephone cables of three nearby bunkers and was connected with the command posts in Nieuw Abeele, Vlissingen and Oost Walcheren. Part of the Landfront Vlissingen complex, within the anti-tank ditch with casemates between Stützpunkt Kolberg (Strongpoint Koudekerke) to the Canal through Walcheren (Nieuw Vlissingseweg near Middelburg).
