Ten zuidwesten van het hoofdgebouw, aan het Merwedekanaal (oorspronkelijk de Vaartse Rijn), ligt een ornamenteel THEEHUISJE op vierkante grondslag, bestaande uit één bouwlaag onder een met leien gedekt tentdak. Het witgepleisterde huisje is voorzien van een geschilderd blokmotief en gebouwd over een 17de-eeuwse sloot of buitengracht, op de plaats waar deze in het Merwedekanaal uitkomt. In de noordgevel bevindt zich een eenvoudige deur met meerruits bovenlicht binnen een pilasterstelling, voorafgegaan door een halfronde bakstenen stoep van vier treden. De overige gevels zijn twee traveeën breed en voorzien van schuiframen in empire-stijl. Op het dak een ornamentele schoorsteen. Het theehuisje dateert oorspronkelijk van vóór 1731, mogelijk al uit de 17de eeuw, in 1884 werd het vernieuwd.

Description
An ornamental TEA HOUSE on a square ground plan, consisting of one storey under a slate-covered tent roof, lies to the south-west of the main building, on the Merwedekanaal (originally the Vaartse Rijn). The whitewashed cottage is provided with a painted block motif and built over a 17th-century moat or outer ditch, at the point where it meets the Merwedekanaal. In the north gable is a simple door with multi-pane fanlight within a pilaster frame, preceded by a semi-circular brick stoep of four steps. The remaining facades are two bays wide and provided with sash windows in Empire style. On the roof is an ornamental chimney. The tea house dates originally from before 1731, possibly already from the 17th century; it was renewed in 1884.
