Omschrijving onderdeel 8: BOSBAASWONING.
De ornamentele dienstwoning uit 1916, waarin de bosbaas van Windesheim gehuisvest was, ligt in de as van de Windesheimerweg en vormt daarvan de visuele beëindiging. Het uit rode baksteen opgetrokken pand bestaat uit twee haaks op elkaar geplaatste, rechthoekige bouwvolumes en telt een kelder-, begane grond- en kapverdieping. Het rechter bouwdeel loopt evenwijdig aan de straat, het linkerdeel staat daar haaks op. Het geheel wordt overkapt door twee haaks op elkaar geplaatste zadeldaken met forse overstek, gedekt met rode tuile du Nord-pannen. De puntgevels zijn voorzien van een decoratieve makelaar. In de oksel van de twee bouwdelen bevindt zich een lager bouwdeel met een plat dak. In de voorgevel centraal een eenvoudige voordeur met meerruits bovenlicht en rechts daarvan een neo-kruisvenster met meerruits bovenlicht en halve luiken. In het uitspringende linkerdeel een kruisvenster als aan de rechterkant, met daarboven een T-venster met meerruits bovenlicht en smalle, lagere zijlichten. In het rechter dak aan de voorzijde een veluxvenster. In de westgevel twee vensters met meerruits bovenlicht en in het westelijke dakschild drie veluxramen. In de overige gevels diverse variaties op de vensters aan de voorzijde; in de top van de eindgevels bijvoorbeeld een dubbel draairaam met grote ruiten, waarvan het bovendeel uit twee kleinere ruiten bestaat, en in de lagere aanbouw kruisvensters als aan de voorzijde. De gevels zijn verfraaid met hardstenen details in de vorm van strekbogen, onderdorpels en een omlopende band onder de dakgoot op klossen.

Description of component 8: FOREST MANAGER'S DWELLING.
The ornamental service dwelling from 1916, in which the forest manager of Windesheim was housed, lies on the axis of the Windesheimerweg and forms its visual terminus. The building, constructed of red brick, consists of two rectangular building volumes placed at right angles to each other and has a basement, ground floor and attic storey. The right building section runs parallel to the street, the left section stands at right angles to it. The whole is covered by two gabled roofs placed at right angles to each other with generous overhang, covered with red tuile du Nord tiles. The gables are provided with decorative crow-steps. In the angle between the two building sections is a lower building section with a flat roof. In the front facade centrally a simple entrance door with multi-pane fanlight and to its right a neo-cross window with multi-pane fanlight and half shutters. In the protruding left section a cross window as on the right side, with above it a T-window with multi-pane fanlight and narrow, lower side lights. In the right roof on the front a roof window. In the west facade two windows with multi-pane fanlight and in the western roof slope three roof windows. In the other facades various variations on the windows on the front; in the apex of the end gables, for example, a double casement window with large panes, of which the upper part consists of two smaller panes, and in the lower extension cross windows as on the front. The facades are embellished with hardstone details in the form of relieving arches, window sills and a continuous band under the roof cornice on corbels.
