TUINBEELDEN, bestaande uit a.: twee Herculesbeelden en b.: beeldfragmenten, rond 1710, alles van de hand van Gaspar Swenst, in opdracht gemaakt voor deze buitenplaats. Ad a.: stel levensgrote zandstenen beelden links en rechts van de versmalling van de vijver voor het huis, nog steeds in situ; het ene beeld Hercules vechtend met Acheloüs, het andere vechtend tegen de Hydra. Ad b.: zandstenen beeldfragmenten van een groep, die ooit in de vijver voor het huis stond, voorstellende Pan en Galathaea, nu gedeeltelijk in en nabij het huis.

De TUINBEELDEN zijn in cultuurhistorisch opzicht van algemeen belang:
- vanwege de ouderdom;
- vanwege de zeer grote kunst- en cultuurhistorische waarde;
- vanwege het unieke feit, dat de beelden specifiek voor deze buitenplaats gemaakt zijn en zich bovendien nog in situ bevinden; dit laatste betreft alleen de beide Herculesbeelden.

Description
GARDEN SCULPTURES, consisting of a.: two Hercules sculptures and b.: sculpture fragments, around 1710, all by Gaspar Swenst, made on commission for this country estate. Re a.: set of life-size sandstone sculptures left and right of the narrowing of the pond in front of the house, still in situ; one sculpture Hercules fighting Achelous, the other fighting the Hydra. Re b.: sandstone sculpture fragments of a group which once stood in the pond in front of the house, depicting Pan and Galathaea, now partly in and near the house.
Valuation
The GARDEN SCULPTURES are of general cultural-historical interest:
- because of their age;
- because of their very great artistic and cultural-historical value;
- because of the unique fact that the sculptures were specifically made for this country estate and moreover are still in situ; this latter applies only to both Hercules sculptures.
