Aan het begin van de oprijlaan bij de Dorpsstraat een 18de-eeuwse TOEGANGSHEK MET BRUG bestaande uit een gemetselde boog over de gracht, waarop zandstenen pijlers met guirlandes versierd. Hiertussen een smeedijzeren balustrade met een reeks opengewerkte balusters. Het toegangshek bestaat uit twee draaibare vleugels tussen smeedijzeren posten. Op de hekposten het gecombineerde wapen Keppel en Van Pallandt. Bekroning met een zwaan.

At the beginning of the drive at the Dorpsstraat an 18th-century ENTRANCE GATE WITH BRIDGE consisting of a masonry arch over the moat, upon which sandstone piers decorated with garlands. Between these a wrought-iron balustrade with a series of openwork balusters. The entrance gate consists of two hinged wings between wrought-iron posts. On the gate posts the combined coat of arms Keppel and Van Pallandt. Surmounted with a swan.
