Omschrijving onderdeel 13: STENEN BANK.
In natuursteen uitgevoerde tuinbank, vroeg 18de-eeuws, thans geplaatst ter hoogte van de ronde kom in het noorden van de tuinaanleg. De bank is aan weerszijden voorzien van een voluutvormige leuning en in de rugleuning bevindt zich het wapen van het geslacht Van Coehoorn (twee beren en twee horens binnen een cartouche en gekroond). De achterzijde van de bank is gesierd met een natuurstenen cartouche waarin twee wapenschilden (geslacht Van Scheltinga) en rozetten. Tevens staat een tekst op de bank: "Den Hoogwelgeboren Heer Menno Coehoorn van Scheltinga, grietman van Schoterland, De Hoogwelgeboren Vrouwe Martha Kinnema van Scheltinga Anno 1700".

Description
Description of component 13: STONE BENCH.
Garden bench executed in natural stone, early 18th-century, currently placed at the height of the round basin in the north of the garden layout. The bench is furnished on both sides with a volute-shaped armrest and in the backrest is the coat of arms of the Van Coehoorn family (two bears and two horns within a cartouche and crowned). The back of the bench is decorated with a natural stone cartouche in which are two coats of arms (Van Scheltinga family) and rosettes. A text also appears on the bench: "To the Most Honourable Gentleman Menno Coehoorn van Scheltinga, grietman of Schoterland, the Most Honourable Lady Martha Kinnema van Scheltinga Anno 1700".
