Omschrijving
PAND aan de Kerkstraat, van oorsprong behorend bij het pand Keizersgracht 674. Van het aan de Kerkstraat gelegen pand is alleen de tuingevel van belang; het overige gedeelte van het pand is rond 1925 vernieuwd en voor de bescherming van ondergeschikt belang.
Bakstenen gevel met natuurstenen onderdelen, voorzien van een kolossale Dorische pilasterstelling, kroonlijst met trigliefen en attiek uit 1671 naar ontwerp van Adriaen Dortsman, in het midden (ter plaatse van de middenrisaliet) rond 1730 voorzien van een verhoogde, spiegelboogvormige gevel met klok met ter weerszijden aanliggende allegorische vrouwenfiguren. Het dak met gesmoorde dakpannen heeft twee met tympanen afgedekte dakkapellen. De bakstenen gevel is ter plaatse van de (schijn)loggia voorzien van een invulling tussen de halfzuilen uit ongeveer 1925, met centraal een witmarmeren fontein.
Waardering
Gevel van algemeen belang vanwege de grote architectuurhistorische waarde door het zeventiende-eeuwse ontwerp alsmede door de latere wijzigingen, alsmede van ruimtelijk-functioneel belang vanwege de historische relatie met de tuin en het grachtenhuis.

BUILDING on the Kerkstraat, originally belonging to the building Keizersgracht 674. Of the building located on the Kerkstraat, only the garden facade is of importance; the remainder of the building was renewed around 1925 and is of subordinate importance for protection.
Brick facade with natural stone elements, provided with a colossal Doric pilaster order, cornice with triglyphs and attic from 1671 designed by Adriaen Dortsman, in the centre (in the location of the central projection) provided around 1730 with a raised, mirror-arch-shaped facade with bell with allegorical female figures on either side. The roof with hipped roof tiles has two dormer windows covered with tympana. The brick facade is provided, in the location of the (dummy) loggia, with infilling between the half-columns from approximately 1925, with a white marble fountain centrally.
Valuation
Facade of general importance because of the great architectural-historical value through the seventeenth-century design as well as through the later alterations, and also of spatial-functional importance because of the historical relationship with the garden and the canal house.
