Omschrijving
Op een vierkante plattegrond, in donkerrode baksteen opgetrokken conciërgewoning, een hoekhuis met twee bouwlagen onder een aan de voor- en achterzijde overstekend zadeldak met zwarte pannen en twee gemetselde schoorstenen boven de topgevels. Voorgevel met ingang aan Rubensstraat (W). Zijlicht met V-vormige roedenverdeling. Ingang met zijlicht onder een ver uitkragende luifel. Links van de ingang een kruisvormig onderverdeeld (keuken)venster met bovenlicht. De zijde aan de Anthonie van Dijckstraat (Z) heeft beganegronds een smal (wc)venster en rechts twee gekoppelde vensters met een zesruits roedenverdeling. Op de verdieping twee dito vensters. De topgevel is voorzien van siermetselwerk. De oostgevel heeft alleen op de begane grond een enkel en een gekoppeld onderverdeeld venster. De noordgevel heeft op de begane grond een achteringang (rechts) en een erker. Op de verdieping twee identiek gekoppelde zesruits vensters. De topgevel is voorzien van siermetselwerk.

Conciërgewoning van algemeen belang wegens architectuur- en cultuurhistorische waarde als historisch-functioneel onderdeel van het schoolcomplex van de vm. meisjes-HBS.

Concierge dwelling erected in dark red brick on a square ground plan, a corner house with two storeys under a gabled roof overhanging on the front and rear with black tiles and two mortared chimneys above the gable ends. Front facade with entrance on Rubensstraat (W). Sidelight with V-shaped glazing bars. Entrance with sidelight under a far-overhanging canopy. To the left of the entrance a cruciform-divided (kitchen) window with fanlight. The side on the Anthonie van Dijckstraat (Z) has on the ground floor a narrow (toilet) window and to the right two coupled windows with a six-paned glazing pattern. On the storey two likewise windows. The gable end is furnished with decorative masonry. The east facade has only on the ground floor a single and a coupled divided window. The north facade has on the ground floor a rear entrance (to the right) and a bay. On the storey two identically coupled six-paned windows. The gable end is furnished with decorative masonry.
