Inleiding
MOLENROMP MET PAKHUIS EN AANBOUW. De oorspronkelijk als beltmolen uitgevoerde achtkante molen is in de tweede helft van de 19e eeuw gebouwd als korenmolen. De molen heeft op dezelfde standplaats een voorganger gehad. In 1930 werd onderin de molen een Reform gloeikopmotor geplaatst voor het aandrijven van het binnenwerk. De molen is omstreeks 1936 onttakeld, waarbij het wiekenkruis en de kap werden verwijderd. In 1936 werd tegen de molenromp een pakhuis gebouwd, waarvoor de belt gedeeltelijk werd afgegraven. Na 1945 werd de gloeikopmotor vervangen door een in een kelder geplaatste Lister dieselmotor en een hamermolen en werden twee mengketels en een elevator geplaatst. Hiertoe werd aan de voorzijde een aanbouw gemaakt. Het gaande werk van de molen werd verwijderd. Het pakhuis en de aanbouw hebben thans een functie als winkel in dierbenodigdheden. De molenromp sec heeft thans geen functie. De molenromp met pakhuis en aanbouw ligt langs het Apeldoorns Kanaal, iets achter de langs het kanaal aanwezige verspreide bebouwing.
Omschrijving
De molenromp bestaat uit een gemetselde bakstenen achtkante voet, een grenenhouten achtkant en een gemetseld kalkzandstenen pakhuis met stenen aanbouw. De stenen voet is vanaf de belt bepleisterd. De uit vijf bouwlagen bestaande molenromp is vanaf het metselwerk van de voet gedekt met riet en is voorzien van een puntvormig dak dat is gedekt met riet. Het rechthoekige pakhuis is voorzien van versieringsspeklagen die zijn uitgevoerd in baksteen en is voorzien van een zadeldak dat is gedekt met dakpannen. De aanbouw bestaat uit één bouwlaag en is voorzien van een lessenaarsdak. In de molenromp zijn het vrijwel complete neutenkruiwerk met kuip en overring en enkele drijfassen en riemen uit het tijdperk van de gloeikopmotor aanwezig. In de aanbouw zijn een elevator en twee mengketels aanwezig.

De molenromp met pakhuis en aanbouw is van algemeen belang:
- vanwege bouwtechnisch-historische waarden als herkenbaar en representatief relict van een houten achtkante korenmolen uit de tweede helft van de 19e eeuw die in de eerste helft van de 20e eeuw werd omgebouwd tot machinale maalderij;
- vanwege cultuurhistorische waarden als onderdeel van de geschiedenis van de graanmaalderijen van Nederland en de industriële ontwikkeling van Gelderland en de plaatselijke geschiedenis;

MILL BODY WITH WAREHOUSE AND EXTENSION. The octagonal mill, originally executed as a belt mill, was built in the second half of the 19th century as a corn mill. The mill had a predecessor on the same site. In 1930 a Reform hot bulb engine was installed at the bottom of the mill to drive the internal machinery. The mill was dismantled around 1936, when the sail cross and the cap were removed. In 1936 a warehouse was built against the mill body, for which the belt was partially excavated. After 1945 the hot bulb engine was replaced by a Lister diesel engine placed in a cellar and a hammer mill, and two mixing kettles and an elevator were installed. For this purpose an extension was made on the front. The running gear of the mill was removed. The warehouse and the extension now function as a shop selling animal supplies. The mill body itself now has no function. The mill body with warehouse and extension lies along the Apeldoorns Canal, slightly set back from the scattered dwellings present along the canal.
Description
The mill body consists of a mortared brick octagonal base, a softwood octagon and a mortared sand-lime brick warehouse with stone extension. The stone base is plastered from the belt upwards. The mill body, consisting of five storeys, is covered with reed from the masonry of the base and is provided with a pointed roof covered with reed. The rectangular warehouse is provided with decorative brick coursing and is provided with a gabled roof covered with roof tiles. The extension consists of one storey and is provided with a lean-to roof. - on account of the ensemble values of the mill body, warehouse and extension;
