Inleiding
MOLENROMP. De als beltmolen uitgevoerde ronde stenen molen met de naam 'Haarmolen' is in 1831 als korenmolen gebouwd. De molen is in 1950 onttakeld, waarbij het wiekenkruis en de kap werden verwijderd. Het gaande werk werd waarschijnlijk tegelijk verwijderd. De molenromp kreeg een functie als opslagruimte en later als recreatieverblijf. De romp heeft thans een functie als woning en is aan de zuid-zuidwestzijde uitgebreid met een uitbouw. De aanbouw van de molen valt buiten de werking van de monumentenwet.
Omschrijving
De molenromp bestaat uit de ronde conisch gemetselde bakstenen romp met daar omheen een aarden belt die is voorzien van twee inritten. De uit vier bouwlagen bestaande romp is bepleisterd en thans zwart geteerd en voorzien van een plat dak. De molenromp is voorzien van een steen met een inscriptie.
Waardering
De molenromp is van algemeen belang:
- vanwege bouwtechnisch-historische waarden als herkenbaar en representatief relict van een ronde stenen korenmolen uit de eerste helft van de 19e eeuw;
- vanwege cultuurhistorische waarden als onderdeel van de geschiedenis van de graanmaalderijen van Nederland en de industriële ontwikkeling van Overijssel en de plaatselijke geschiedenis;
- vanwege situationele waarden betreffende de historische gaafheid van de omgeving.

Introduction
MILL HULL. The round stone mill executed as a belt mill with the name 'Haarmolen' was built in 1831 as a grain mill. The mill was dismantled in 1950, whereby the sails and the cap were removed. The machinery was probably removed at the same time. The mill hull acquired a function as storage space and later as a holiday residence. The hull now has a function as a dwelling and has been extended on the south-south-west side with an extension. The addition to the mill falls outside the operation of the Monuments Act.
Description
The mill hull consists of the round conically laid brick hull with an earth belt around it which is provided with two entrance ramps. The hull, consisting of four storeys, is rendered and now tarred black and provided with a flat roof. The mill hull is provided with a stone with an inscription.
Valuation
The mill hull is of general importance:
- because of building-technical and historical values as a recognisable and representative relic of a round stone grain mill from the first half of the 19th century;
- because of cultural-historical values as part of the history of the grain mills of the Netherlands and the industrial development of Overijssel and local history;
- because of situational values concerning the historical integrity of the surroundings.
