Inleiding
Voormalige ZILVERSMEDERIJ gebouwd rond 1900 in Traditioneel Ambachtelijke stijl. Het pand ligt in het historische centrum van Schoonhoven en staat met de nok haaks op de weg.
Omschrijving
Tweelaags hoog opgetrokken pand in rode baksteen (kruisverband) onder een met gesmoorde kruispannen gedekte mansardekap. De kopse gevel aan de straatzijde (oost) is een gebroken tuitgevel met dubbele, uitgemetselde schouderstukken. Links in de gevel een deur onder een tweelicht bovenlicht. Tussen beide bouwlagen is een gepleisterde naamplaat aangebracht met daarop de tekst: " Gebr. Seton in Zilverwerken". Daaronder zijn sierankers bevestigd. Ter plaatse van de zolderverdieping bevindt zich een luik onder een drieruits bovenlicht met daarboven een hijsbalk. In de noordelijke zijgevel zijn op de begane grond en de verdieping grote vensterpartijen geplaatst die bestaan uit zes gekoppelde vensters met drieruits bovenlichten. In vier van de vensters op de begane grond is nog de negenruits roedenverdeling aanwezig. Tussen de beide bouwlagen zijn sierankers bevestigd. De kopse gevel aan de noordelijke kant van het pand heeft op de verdieping een venster en een deur onder een bovenlicht. Ter plaatse van de zolder is een venster geplaatst. De zuidelijke zijgevel is blind.

Former SILVERSMITH'S WORKSHOP built around 1900 in Traditional Craft style. The building is located in the historic centre of Schoonhoven and stands with its ridge perpendicular to the road.
Description
Two-storey high building raised in red brick (Flemish bond) beneath a mansard roof covered with dampened cross-pan tiles. The end gable facing the street (east) is a broken spout gable with double, mortared shoulder sections. On the left of the facade a door beneath a two-light fanlight. Between both storeys a plastered nameplate has been applied with the text: "Gebr. Seton in Zilverwerken". Below this ornamental wall anchors are affixed. At the attic storey level there is a hatch beneath a three-light fanlight with above it a hoist beam. In the northern side facade large window arrangements are placed on the ground floor and first floor consisting of six coupled windows with three-light fanlights. In four of the windows on the ground floor the nine-light glazing bars are still present. Between both storeys ornamental wall anchors are affixed. The end gable on the northern side of the building has on the first floor a window and a door beneath a fanlight. At the attic level a window is placed. The southern side facade is blind.
