Inleiding
Kerkhofmuur ten zuiden van het kerkgebouw van de R.K. kerk van Onze Lieve Vrouwe Geboorte. De muur sluit in het westen aan tegen het rechthuis (apart monumentnummer 16505) en in het oosten tegen de kosterswoning en omsluit het kerkhof. De kerkmuur omsluit de terp waarop het kerkgebouw, de toren, het rechthuis en de kosterswoning zijn gelegen. Na 1997 is nabij het rechthuis een opening in de muur gemaakt als toegang naar het nieuwe deel van de begraafplaats. De kerkhofmuur aan de noordzijde van het rechthuis dateert van circa 1985. Dit muurdeel valt niet onder de bescherming.
Omschrijving
Gemetselde bakstenen muur, opgetrokken in minimaal twee verschillende formaten baksteen. Het muurdeel direct grenzend aan het rechthuis is een lage halfsteens muur afgesloten door een strekkenlaag. De rest van de kerkhofmuur is breder en afwisselend afgedekt met een rollaag en een ezelsrug. Aan de straatzijde wordt de muur gesteund door steunberen van verschillende vorm.
Waardering
De kerkhofmuur is van algemeen architectuurhistorisch en stedenbouwkundig belang:
- vanwege de functionele eenheid tussen de kerkhofmuur en de kerk, de toren en het kerkhof, te weten het bijeenhouden van de terp;
- vanwege de visuele eenheid tussen de kerkhofmuur en de kerk, de toren en het kerkhof.

Introduction
Churchyard wall to the south of the church building of the R.C. church of Onze Lieve Vrouwe Geboorte. The wall adjoins the courthouse (separate national monument number 16505) in the west and the sexton's house in the east and encloses the churchyard. The church wall encloses the terp on which the church building, the tower, the courthouse and the sexton's house are situated. After 1997 an opening was made in the wall near the courthouse as access to the new part of the cemetery. The churchyard wall on the north side of the courthouse dates from circa 1985. This section of wall does not fall under protection.
Description
Masonry brick wall, built in at least two different brick formats. The section of wall directly adjoining the courthouse is a low half-brick wall finished with a stretcher course. The remainder of the churchyard wall is broader and alternately covered with a roller course and a saddle-back course. On the street side the wall is supported by buttresses of various forms.

The churchyard wall is of general architectural-historical and urban planning importance:
