Inleiding
Kleine LANGGEVELBOERDERIJ onder rieten zadeldak met wolfseinden, in Ambachtelijk-traditionele bouwtrant, daterend uit XIXA. De boerderij is sterk begroeid. Door haar bescheiden afmetingen documenteert ze het wonen en werken van de minder vermogende boerenbevolking.
Omschrijving
De eenlaagse boerderij die met de nok evenwijdig aan de straat ligt, is opgetrokken uit handgevormde baksteen en machinale steen in kruisverband. Het rieten zadeldak is afgewolfd. Op de nok van het dak op de overgang tussen woon- en bedrijfsgedeelte een gemetselde schoorsteen. De voorgevel uit machinale baksteen in kruisverband heeft rechts onder een iets opgelicht dak een woongedeelte met voordeur van kraaldelen met stootbord en laag 2-ruits bovenlicht. Aan weerszijden een venster met 6-ruits schuifraam, dubbele luiken uit kraaldelen en lekdorpel. Het bedrijfsgedeelte links heeft een 5-delig lunetvormig stalraam van ijzer met rollaag en een staldeur. Staafankers. De overige gevel en de korte linkergevel is aan het oog onttrokken door sterke begroeiing. De rechter zijgevel, opgetrokken uit handgevormde baksteen in kruisverband, is op een hooiluik op zolderniveau na geheel blind.
De kozijnen zijn cremekleurig, de ramen wit en de deur heldergroen geschilderd.
Inwendig is de oorspronkelijke indeling grotendeels bewaard gebleven.
Waardering
De kleine langgevelboerderij uit XIXA is van algemeen belang. Het pand heeft cultuurhistorische waarde als voorbeeld van een streekeigen boerderijtype van bescheiden afmetingen. Daardoor documenteert het pand de woon- en werkomstandigheden van het minder vermogende deel van de boerenbevolking. Het heeft architectuurhistorische waarde wegens de in- en uitwendig gaaf bewaard gebleven hoofdstructuur en onderdelen van het interieur, de harmonische verhoudingen en ambachtelijk toegepaste traditionele bouwmaterialen. Small LONG-GABLE FARMHOUSE under thatched gabled roof with half-hipped ends, in traditional craft building style, dating from the 19th century. The farmhouse is heavily overgrown. By its modest dimensions it documents the living and working of the less wealthy farming population.
Description
The single-storey farmhouse, which lies with its ridge parallel to the street, is constructed from hand-moulded brick and machine brick in bond. The thatched gabled roof is barrel-vaulted. On the ridge of the roof at the transition between residential and business section a brick chimney. The front gable of machine brick in bond has on the right below a slightly raised roof a residential section with front door of pearl-glazed faience with plinth and low 2-pane fanlight. On either side a window with 6-pane sash window, double shutters of pearl-glazed faience and drip moulding. The business section on the left has a 5-part lunette-shaped stable window of iron with roller and a stable door. Bar anchors. The remaining gable and the short left gable is hidden from view by heavy overgrowth. The right side gable, constructed from hand-moulded brick in bond, is entirely blind except for a hay loft door at attic level.
The frames are cream-coloured, the windows white and the door painted bright green.
Internally the original layout has been largely preserved.
Valuation
The small long-gable farmhouse from the 19th century is of general interest. The building has cultural-historical value as an example of a regionally characteristic farmhouse type of modest dimensions. Through this the building documents the living and working conditions of the less wealthy part of the farming population. It has architectural-historical value because of the main structure preserved sound both internally and externally and components of the interior, the harmonious proportions and traditionally applied craft building materials. The farmhouse is character-defining to the street scene.
