Inleiding
LANGGEVELBOERDERIJ annex BROUWERIJ uit XVIII-XIXd, opgetrokken in Ambachtelijk-traditionele bouwtrant. Het pand ligt aan een driehoekig dorpspleintje tegenover een veelarmige linde.
Omschrijving
De eenlaagse langgevelboerderij van het dwarsdeeltype op rechthoekige plattegrond heeft een iets lagere haakse aanbouw. Het pand is opgetrokken uit handgevormde veldbrandsteen van verschillende formaten in wild verband. Het samengestelde rieten zadeldak met wolfseinde heeft brede stroken met rode Muldenpannen. Op de scheiding van woon- en bedrijfsgedeelte staat een gemetselde schoorsteen op de nok. De lange voorgevel is boven een gepleisterde plint vernieuwd in XIXd. Voordeur uit kraaldelen met ruitje en gedeeld bovenlicht onder segmentboog. Aan weerszijden een venster met schuifraam en gedeeld bovenlicht eveneens onder segmentboog. Ter hoogte van het bedrijfsgedeelte een staldeur in een grotere dichtgezette muuropening met onder de dakrand een eiken latei met ventilatiestrook. Voorts een tweeruits venstertje, een grote dubbele deeldeur tussen getoogde zesruits stalramen uit beton en een staldeur. De korte linker zijmuur uit veldbrandsteen vertoont de oudste sporen. Uiterst rechts een getralied keldervenster onder een halfcirkelvormige ontlastingsboog van koppen en een verdiepte boogtrommel. Daarboven een opkamervenster met houten kloosterkozijn, zesruits bovenlicht en luik met gesmeed leliegeheng daaronder. Rollagen boven en onder. In het midden een groot nieuw venster, links een zesruits draairaam met rollaag. Op zolderniveau twee vensters met kruisroedenraam. Het linker deel van de gevel is later verhoogd. Vlechtingen en staafankers. De korte rechter gevel die overgaat in de haakse aanbouw onder zadeldak met rode muldenpannen is rond 1950 geheel nieuw opgetrokken in machinale steen in kruisverband. Grote dubbele deur en grote schuifdeur, acht getoogde zesruits stalramen uit beton. Zijgevel met puntgevel van golfplaat en ventilatieopening.
Inwendig is de oorspronkelijke indeling grotendeels bewaard gebleven. Ankerbalkgebint.
Waardering
De langgevelboerderij uit XVIII-XIXd is van algemeen belang. Het pand heeft cultuurhistorische waarde als voorbeeld van een langgevelboerderij annex plattelandsbrouwerij. Het pand heeft architectuurhistorische waarde vanwege de in- en uitwendig gaaf behouden hoofdstructuur en het traditionele materiaalgebruik alsmede vanwege onderdelen van het interieur. LONG-FAÇADE FARMHOUSE together with BREWERY from the second half of the 18th-19th century, erected in artisanal-traditional building tradition. The building is situated at a triangular village square opposite a many-armed linden tree.
Description
The single-storey long-façade farmhouse of the cross-beam type on rectangular ground plan has a slightly lower right-angled extension. The building is erected from hand-moulded field-fired brick of various sizes in random bond. The composite thatched saddle roof with half-hipped roof has broad strips with red Mulden tiles. On the division between residential and business section stands a brick chimney on the ridge. The long front façade is above a rendered plinth renewed in the 19th century. Front door from bead mouldings with small window and divided fanlight under segmental arch. On either side a window with sash window and divided fanlight also under segmental arch. At the level of the business section a stable door in a larger sealed wall opening with beneath the eaves an oak lintel with ventilation strip. Furthermore a small two-pane window, a large double split door between arched six-pane stable windows from concrete and a stable door. The short left side wall from field-fired brick shows the oldest traces. Far right a barred cellar window under a semi-circular relieving arch of headers and a recessed arch ring. Above it an upper room window with wooden cloister window, six-pane fanlight and shutter with wrought lily-hinge beneath. Roll mouldings above and below. In the middle a large new window, left a six-pane casement window with roll moulding. On attic level two windows with cross-muntined window. The left part of the façade was heightened later. Timber infill panels and rod anchors. The short right gable which transitions to the right-angled extension under saddle roof with red Mulden tiles was completely newly built around 1950 in machine brick in cross bond. Large double door and large sliding door, eight arched six-pane stable windows from concrete. Side façade with pointed gable of corrugated sheet and ventilation opening.
Interiorly the original layout has been largely preserved. Anchor beam framework.
Valuation
The long-façade farmhouse from the second half of the 18th-19th century is of general importance. The building has cultural-historical value as an example of a long-façade farmhouse together with rural brewery. The building has architectural-historical value because of the internally and externally well-preserved main structure and the traditional use of materials as well as because of components of the interior. It is character-defining to the streetscape.
