Omschrijving
Omschrijving onderdeel 11: TUINSIERAAD.
Op een kruising in de bocht waar de dubbele laanbeplanting met beuken overgaat in enkel geplante eiken staat een laat 19de-eeuws tuinornament in gietijzer in de vorm van een pronkschaal op hoge voet.
De pronkschaal heeft boven het vierkante voetstuk een vierzijdige balustervormige vaas in rijke neo-Lodewijk XIVde stijl met reliëfs waarin schelpen, voluten en looftakken; daarboven ligt een geprofileerde dekplaat waarop een achthoekig opzetstuk met florale ornamenten op de steel, die een geribbelde schaal draagt met twee voluutvormige hengsels aan de bovenzijde. Het tuinsieraad werd in de jaren '90 van de 20ste eeuw gerestaureerd.
Waardering
Het TUINSIERAAD is in cultuurhistorisch opzicht van algemeen belang:

Description
Description of component 11: GARDEN ORNAMENT.
At a crossing in the bend where the double avenue planting with beeches transitions to single-planted oaks stands a late 19th-century garden ornament in cast iron in the form of an ornamental bowl on a high pedestal.
Above the square pedestal the ornamental bowl has a four-sided baluster-shaped vase in rich Neo-Louis XIV style with reliefs featuring shells, volutes and leafy branches; above this lies a moulded cover plate on which an octagonal superstructure with floral ornaments on the stem, which carries a ribbed bowl with two volute-shaped handles at the top. The garden ornament was restored in the 1990s.
