Inleiding
VEESCHUUR, onderdeel van het boerderijcomplex 'Veelust' aan de Schieweg te Delft. De schuur staat voor op het erf, aan de zuidzijde van het woongedeelte van de boerderij. De schuur is aan het einde van de negentiende eeuw gebouwd in een Traditioneel-ambachtelijke bouwtrant.
Omschrijving
De veeschuur heeft een rechthoekige plattegrond en telt één bouwlaag onder een met rode pannen gedekt schilddak met de nok haaks op de Schieweg. De gevels zijn opgetrokken in rode baksteen. De symmetrische voorgevel (oostzijde) heeft twee kleine halfronde gietijzeren vensters. In de dakpartij is een dakkapel met luik aangebracht. In de asymmetrische rechter zijgevel zijn vier staldeuren met segmentboogvormige bovenzijde aangebracht.

De veeschuur op het boerderijcomplex 'Veelust' is van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuurhistorische, de architectuurhistorische en de ensemblewaarde.

CATTLE BARN, component of the farmhouse complex 'Veelust' at Schieweg in Delft. The barn stands forward on the farm, on the south side of the dwelling section of the farmhouse. The barn was built at the end of the nineteenth century in a Traditional-artisanal building style.
