Inleiding
De oorspronkelijk houten schuur, die naast het molenaarshuis aan de Gemeenlandsedijk Zuid is gelegen, is circa 1920 vervangen door een in baksteen opgemetselde SCHUUR. De schuur bestaat uit twee volumes. Het teruggelegen volume is aanzienlijk hoger en breder van formaat. Dit deel is waarschijnlijk circa 1930 aan het complex toegevoegd. Tegen de zuidzijde van het teruggelegen volume staat een aanbouw onder een lessenaarsdak.
De schuur is op onderdelen gewijzigd.
Omschrijving
De schuur is haaks op de dijk gebouwd. Het oudste rechthoekige volume ligt gelijkvloers met de dijk. Het volume telt één bouwlaag onder een mansardedak, haaks op de dijk. Achter dit volume ligt een tweede rechthoekig volume, aanzienlijk breder en hoger en, omdat het gebouw in de polder ligt, telt het gebouw twee bouwlagen onder een mansardedak. Aan de zuidzijde van de onderste bouwlaag bevindt zich een rechthoekige aanbouw onder een lessenaarsdak.
De daken zijn gedekt met gesmoorde tuiles du Nord. De witte houten gootlijsten zijn geplaatst op eenvoudige klossen. Alleen de voorgevel aan de dijk is opgetrokken uit rode baksteen. In de gevel is een dubbele garagedeur opgenomen en in de top van de gevel een luik onder een hijsbalk. De overige gevels zijn gepleisterd en met gietijzeren segmentboogvormige en rondboogvensters geleed. In de kelderlaag van de achtergevel bevinden zich dubbele openslaande deuren.

Description
The barn is built at right angles to the dike. The oldest rectangular volume lies at the same level as the dike. The volume has one storey beneath a mansard roof, at right angles to the dike. Behind this volume lies a second rectangular volume, considerably wider and higher and, because the building lies in the polder, the building has two storeys beneath a mansard roof. On the south side of the lower storey is a rectangular extension beneath a lean-to roof.
