Omschrijving
Oud Katholieke kerk te Schoonhoven vanwege het orgel, gemaakt door de orgelmakers L. Mintier en Gloton uit Nantes (Frankrijk) rond 1875. Aangekocht van een particulier en rond 1980 in deze kerk geplaatst.
Het betreft hier een uniek instrumentje dat opvalt door de technische constructies van mechaniek en pijpwerk, geplaatst in een zeer compact meubel met vrijstaande windvoorziening met als bedoeling met name de koorzang te begeleiden. Van deze makers zijn geen instrumenten in ons land beschermd.

Description
Old Catholic church in Schoonhoven because of the organ, made by the organ makers L. Mintier and Gloton from Nantes (France) around 1875. Purchased from a private individual and installed in this church around 1980.
This is a unique small instrument that stands out because of the technical constructions of mechanism and pipework, placed in a very compact case with a free-standing wind supply with the intention in particular to accompany the choir singing. No instruments by these makers are protected in our country.
