Introduction

Originally a building set at right angles to Dubbelstraat, a pottery with seventeenth-century origins. In the eighteenth century a building volume was realised perpendicular to this, parallel to the street, giving the building an L-shaped floor plan with an enclosed courtyard in the 'elbow'. On the right in the front section an eighteenth-century room. Around 1800 the facade was provided with six-pane sash windows.
