Omschrijving
Het KOELHUIS bestaat uit één bouwlaag en bevindt zich links van het hoofdgebouw en wordt door een modern koelhuis met damwanden aan de achterzijde begrensd. Tegen de rechter zijgevel aan is een trafo aangebouwd. Het gebouw heeft een vierkante plattegrond en wordt aan de bovenzijde afgesloten met een gegolfde daklijst. Ook deze gevels zijn gemetseld in Noors verband en voorzien van een een plint in rode baksteen. Onder de dakrand bevinden zich in drie van de vier gevels zeer smalle verticale openingen. De gevelhoeken worden geaccentueerd door uitgemetselde baksteenlagen. De hoofdingang, die zich aan de Wageningsestraat bevindt, heeft een eenvoudige opgeklampte deur met een geblokte omlijsting. Boven deze deur bevindt zich een rond venster met diagonale roedenverdeling. Links naast de voordeur bevinden zich drie vierkante vensters met stalen klapramen. De vensters worden aan de bovenzijde afgesloten met een strek, aan de onderzijde met geglazuurde dorpeltegels. Op de voorgevel en op de rechter zijgevel zijn respectievelijk de teksten "Midden-Betuwe" en "Koelhuis" aangebracht met smeedijzeren letters. De linker zijgevel bevat rechts een opgeklampte deur met links daarvan twee vensters als vernoemd. De rechter zijgevel is behoudens enkele rechthoekige openingen met luiken, blind. Aan deze zijde is een éénlaags electriciteitshuisje aangebracht in dezelfde stijl als het hoofdgebouw en het koelhuis. Het huisje bevat stalen deuren.

KOELHUIS, gebouwd in 1935.

The COOLING STORE consists of one storey and is located to the left of the main building and is bounded at the rear by a modern cooling store with sheet pile walls. Against the right side facade is a transformer room attached. The building has a square floor plan and is closed at the top with a corrugated roof edge. These facades are also laid in Flemish bond and fitted with a plinth in red brick. Below the roof edge are very narrow vertical openings in three of the four facades. The facade corners are emphasized by built-up brick layers. The main entrance, which is located on the Wageningsestraat, has a simple mounted door with a blocked surround. Above this door is a round window with diagonal glazing bars. To the left of the front door are three square windows with steel casement windows. The windows are closed at the top with a course, at the bottom with glazed threshold tiles. On the front facade and on the right side facade respectively are the texts "Midden-Betuwe" and "Koelhuis" applied in wrought iron letters. The left side facade contains on the right a mounted door with to its left two windows as mentioned. The right side facade, except for some rectangular openings with shutters, is blank.
