BRICK KILN "Vogelsangh" from 1919. This elongated kiln on a rectangular ground plan is of the type of closed continuous ring kiln with chimney. The kiln is sealed at the top with a thick layer of clay and sand. On the STOKING LOFT, coal is dropped via small firing holes between the stacked moulded bricks. The stoking loft receives light through rectangular twelve-light windows. These windows are inserted in plastered walls. The loft is covered by an elongated gabled roof on composite roof trusses of sawn timber. The roof has a wavy ridge line and is covered with red old and improved Dutch tiles.
