The register's description

LEGERINGSGEBOUW (4) met rechthoekige plattegrond bestaande uit twee bouwlagen afgesloten door een flauw hellend schilddak met royaal overstek gedekt met rode opnieuw verbeterde Hollandse pannen. In de dakschilden bevinden zich diverse niet oorspronkelijke dakkapellen. De gevels zijn, boven het trasraam met rollaag opgetrokken in rode baksteen in kruisverband, opgetrokken in gele baksteen in Vlaams verband. In de gevels bevinden zich regelmatig verdeelde stalen ramen met roedenverdeling. De ramen worden aan de onderzijde afgesloten door een lekdorpel, aan de bovenzijde afgesloten door een betonnen latei. De entree bevindt zich in een risalerende, hoger opgetrokken oostgevel afgesloten door een aangekapt schilddak. Aan de zuidzijde van het hoofdvolume bevindt zich een aanbouw van één bouwlaag afgesloten door een aangekapt schilddak.

De VOORGEVEL (oostgevel) bestaat uit de gevel van de aanbouw links, de risalerende gevel van het hoofdvolume rechts, onderbroken door een risalerende ingangspartij. In de gevel van de aanbouw bevinden zich drie naast elkaar geplaatste vensters onder één latei. In de gevel van het hoofdvolume bevindt zich op de begane grond en de verdieping dezelfde indeling met uitzondering van de risalerende ingangspartij rechts van het midden. Uiterst links bevindt zich een rond venster gevolgd door drie maal drie vensters onder één latei. In de risalerende ingangspartij bevindt zich op de begane grond de entree bestaande uit een bakstenen, getrapte dagkant met terug gelegen dubbele deur met zware smeedijzeren gehengen onder een horizontale latei annex luifel. Aan weerszijden van de entree bevindt zich een vier-ruits raam. Over de hoogte van de eerste en tweede verdieping bevinden zich drie naast elkaar geplaatste staande, hoge, smalle vensters ten behoeve van de lichtinval in de trappartij aan de bovenzijde afgesloten door één latei. Rechts van de ingangspartij bevinden zich twee vensters onder één latei met uiterst rechts één venster.

De LINKERZIJGEVEL (zuidgevel) bestaat uit de zuidgevel van de aanbouw van één bouwlaag met aangekapt schilddak. Op de begane grond bevinden zich twee maal twee vensters onder één latei. In het dakschild bevindt zich een dakkapel. Aan weerszijden van de aanbouw bevindt zich in de terug gelegen zuidgevel van het hoofdvolume een ingangspartij. De ingangspartij bestaat uit een dubbele deur met meerruits bovenlicht aan de bovenzijde afgesloten door een platte luifel, dat overgaat in het schilddak. Uiterst links en rechts bevindt zich een lage, korte bakstenen muur alsof een doorgetrokken trasraam van de voorgevel. Op de verdieping bevindt zich een rond draairaam. De ACHTERGEVEL (westgevel) bestaat uit de westgevel van het hoofdvolume met rechts de terug gelegen westgevel van de aanbouw. De westgevel van het hoofdvolume bestaat uit een terug gelegen vensteras met in beide bouwlagen één venster en een geveldeel met in beide bouwlagen een identieke vensterindeling. Van links naar rechts bevinden zich in de gevel in beide bouwlagen twee vensters onder één latei, drie smalle, staande vensters onder één latei, drie maal drie vensters onder één latei. De drie smalle staande vensters bevinden zich in een risalerend geveldeel dat zich bevindt in het verlengde van het risalerende deel in de voorgevel. In de gevel van de aanbouw bevinden zich drie vensters onder één latei.

De RECHTERZIJGEVEL (noordgevel) bestaat uit de noordgevel van het hoofdvolume, met links hiervan de terug gelegen blinde zijgevel van de risalerende ingangspartij en rechts van het hoofdvolume de zijgevel van de risaliet in de achtergevel met in beide bouwlagen een smal staand venster. In de noordgevel van het hoofdvolume bevindt zich in beide bouwlagen links twee vensters onder één latei, centraal één venster en rechts twee vensters onder één latei. In het dakschild bevindt zich een dakkapel.

Het INTERIEUR is niet bezocht.

LEGERINGSGEBOUW (4) gebouwd als onderdeel van het KAZERNECOMPLEX `Elias Beeckman' naar ontwerp van de Kapitein der Genie A.G. BOOST voor een infanteriekazerne met Regtstaf voor twee Bataljons gerealiseerd in 1939 in zakelijk expressionisme.

The entrance is located in a projecting, taller east facade enclosed by an attached hipped roof. On the south side of the main volume there is an extension of one storey enclosed by an attached hipped roof.

The FRONT FACADE (east facade) consists of the facade of the extension on the left, the projecting facade of the main volume on the right, interrupted by a projecting entrance section. In the facade of the extension there are three windows placed side by side under one lintel. In the facade of the main volume there is on the ground floor and the upper storey the same layout with the exception of the projecting entrance section to the right of centre.
