Inleiding
WINKELWONING uit circa 1900 in de stijl van de Art-Nouveau. Het pand staat in een gesloten gevelwand in de historische binnenstad van Dordrecht en valt binnen het beschermd stadsgezicht.
Omschrijving
Winkelwoning over twee bouwlagen, opgetrokken in baksteen en afgesloten door een zadeldak bedekt met Hollandse pannen. De centraal geplaatste dakkapel heeft een steekkap gedekt met leien in Maasdekking. De voorgevel heeft op de begane grond een segmentboogvormige winkelpui in hardsteen en glas, met een getorste trekstang. De gevel is verlevendigd met hardsteen onderdelen en gestucte sluit- en aanzetstenen. Ter hoogte van de verdieping heeft de gevel hoeklisenen. De segmentboog van de pui heeft een hardstenen sluitsteen waarin het monogram J v/d R. In de boog is met gouden letters 'Vleeschhouwerij' gehakt. Links dubbele houten deuren met een pseudo stolpnaald en siersmeedwerk voor de ruiten waarin hakbijltjes zijn verwerkt. Rechts een grote etalageruit met een hardstenen plint. In de deurstijl tussen winkelruit en deur is een ossenkop verwerkt. Op de verdieping twee schuiframen met glas-in-lood bovenlichten. Hardstenen onderdorpels met gestucte sluitstenen. De kozijnen zijn geplaatst onder geblokte segmentbogen met in de boogtrommels siermetselwerk en met Art Nouveau stucomlijstingen. Centraal in de dakrand een dakkapel met rondboograam, waarvan de boog met een gestucte rand is omlijst. De kapel heeft een gestucte dakrand met decoraties. Aan weerszijden van de dakkapel twee gekoppelde rondboognisjes met siermetselwerk en een geprofileerde daklijst.

Shop-house over two storeys, built in brickwork and closed off by a gabled roof covered with Dutch tiles. The centrally placed roof dormer window has a pent roof covered with slate in Dutch slate covering. The front facade has on the ground floor a segmental arch shop front in stone and glass, with a twisted pull rod. The facade is enlivened with stone components and stuccoed closing and setting stones. At the level of the first floor the facade has rusticated corner strips. The segmental arch of the front has a stone keystone with the monogram J v/d R. In the arch 'Vleeschhouwerij' is carved in golden letters. On the left double wooden doors with a pseudo strap hinge and ornamental ironwork for the panes in which small axes are incorporated. On the right a large display window with a stone plinth. In the doorframe between shop window and door is an ox head incorporated. On the first floor two sash windows with leaded glass fanlights. Sandstone sills with stuccoed keystones. The frames are placed beneath rusticated segmental arches with ornamental brickwork in the arch drums and with Art Nouveau stucco mouldings. Centrally in the roof edge a dormer window with segmental arch window, the arch of which is framed with a stuccoed border. The dormer has a stuccoed roof edge with decorations. On either side of the dormer window two coupled segmental arch niches with ornamental brickwork and a profiled roof moulding.
