Inleiding
CONSISTORIE uit omstreeks 1850, aangebouwd aan de oostzijde van de Hervormde kerk te Tuil.
Omschrijving
De consistorie met rechthoekige plattegrond bestaat uit één bouwlaag afgesloten door een zadeldak tussen twee tuitgevels. De gevels met gepleisterde plint zijn opgetrokken in kruisverband met gepleisterde banden op de hoeken en langs de tuitgevel. De gevels zijn met de restauratie in 1991 geschilderd in baksteenkleuren Centraal in de VOORGEVEL (zuidgevel) bevindt zich de ingangspartij bestaande uit een rechthoekige paneeldeur met twee-ruits bovenlicht met geprofileerde omlijsting. De deurpartij wordt aan de bovenzijde afgesloten door een kroonlijst ondersteund door consoles. De gevel eindigt boven de ingangspartij in een Vlaamse tuitgevel met achterliggend, aangekapt zadeldak. Links en rechts van de ingangspartij eindigt de gevel in een bakgoot met ijzeren ondersteuning. De LINKERZIJGEVEL (westgevel) grenst deels aan de kerk, deels is het een blinde gevel met uitzondering van het rondvenster omsloten door een rollaag in de geveltop van de tuitgevel.
Centraal in de ACHTERGEVEL (noordgevel) bevindt zich een zes-ruits schuifraam onder de bakgoot. Centraal in de RECHTERZIJGEVEL (oostgevel) bevindt zich een zesruits schuifraam aan de bovenzijde afgesloten door een anderhalf steens strek. Links van het venster bevindt zich een klein enkelruits raam. In de geveltop bevindt zich een rondvenster als in de linkerzijgevel.
Het INTERIEUR is grotendeels in oorspronkelijke staat bewaard gebleven.

CONSISTORIE
- Van architectuurhistorische waarde als voorbeeld van een zaalkerk bestaande uit een toren, schip en consistorie in oorsprong daterend uit de veertiende eeuw, gewijzigd en uitgebreid in respectievelijk 1810 en 1850.
- Van stedenbouwkundige waarde vanwege de centrale ligging van de kerk binnen de bebouwde kom van de kleine kern Tuil in de gemeente Neerijnen, met aan de oostzijde het voormalig schoolgebouw, aan de zuidzijde het kerkhof met enkele grafzerken van voor 1850 en aan de westzijde de voormalige pastorie. De kerk wordt aan de westzijde ontsloten door een hek.
- Van cultuurhistorische waarde als voorbeeld van een hervormde kerk bestaande uit een veertiende eeuwse toren, negentiende eeuws schip en consistorie.

CONSISTORY from around 1850, built onto the east side of the Reformed church at Tuil.
Description
The consistory with rectangular plan consists of one storey enclosed by a gabled roof between two spout gables. The facades with rendered plinth are built in Flemish bond with rendered bands at the corners and along the spout gable. The facades were painted in brick colours during the 1991 restoration. Centrally in the FRONT FACADE (south facade) is the entrance section consisting of a rectangular panel door with two-pane fanlight with moulded frame. The door section is closed at the top by a cornice supported by consoles. The facade ends above the entrance section in a Flemish spout gable with recessed, half-hipped roof behind it. Left and right of the entrance section the facade ends in a gutter with iron support. The LEFT SIDE FACADE (west facade) adjoins the church in part, in part it is a blind facade with the exception of the circular window enclosed by a roll moulding in the gable top of the spout gable.
Centrally in the REAR FACADE (north facade) is a six-pane sash window under the gutter. Centrally in the RIGHT SIDE FACADE (east facade) is a six-pane sash window closed at the top by a one-and-a-half brick course. To the left of the window is a small single-pane window. In the gable top is a circular window as in the left side facade.
The INTERIOR has been preserved largely in its original state.

CONSISTORY
- Of architectural-historical value as an example of a hall church consisting of a tower, nave and consistory originally dating from the fourteenth century, modified and extended in 1810 and 1850 respectively.
- Of urban value because of the central location of the church within the built-up area of the small village Tuil in the municipality of Neerijnen, with the former school building on the east side, the churchyard with some gravestones from before 1850 on the south side and the former parsonage on the west side. The church is accessed on the west side by a gate.
- Of cultural-historical value as an example of a Reformed church consisting of a fourteenth century tower, nineteenth century nave and consistory.
