Inleiding
Klein, vrij gelegen MOLENAARSHUIS, behorende bij oostelijk hiervan gesitueerde molen uit 1726, in het midden van de negentiende eeuw, parallel aan en deels op het dijktalud gebouwd, in een sobere streek-eigen bouwtrant.
Omschrijving
Op een rechthoekig plattegrond in wit gepleisterde baksteen opgetrokken molenaarswoning. De woning, met een langsgevel parallel aan de dijk, telt één bouwlaag en een zadeldak onder een met rode pannen gedekt zadeldak. De voor- en achtergevels hebben een brede bakgoot op geprofileerde houten gootklossen. De kopse oost- en westgevel hebben langs de dakrand brede gedecoreerde waterborden op houten klampen en in de nok een makelaar. De kozijnen van de deuren en vensters zijn van hout. De lange voor- en achtergevels zijn behalve een eenvoudige houten deur geheel blind uitgevoerd.
De oostelijke zijgevel is als uitzondering, boven een hoge gepleisterde plint uitgevoerd in donkerrode baksteen in kruisverband en heeft aan de noordzijde een houten aanbouw van één bouwlaag onder een lessenaarsdak met aan de zuidzijde een houten deur.
De gevel heeft links een hoog venster met zesledige roedenverdeling en in de nok een klein rechthoekig blindvenster, beiden met een rechte gemetselde rollagen. Tussen de bouwlagen bevinden zich twee muurankers.
De westelijke zijgevel heeft op de begane grond een klein tweeledig venster en in de nok een rondboogvenster met stalen roedenverdeling. De makelaar wordt bekroond door een ijzeren windvaantje.
Waardering
Eenvoudig laat negentiende-eeuws molenhuis deels gesitueerd op het dijktalud van de Wipperskade, als historisch-functioneel onderdeel van de achterliggende achttiende-eeuwse molen, van algemeen belang vanwege de situationele, cultuurhistorische- en ensemblewaarde.

Small, detached MILLER'S HOUSE, belonging to a mill situated to the east of it from 1726, built in the middle of the nineteenth century, parallel to and partly on the dike slope in a sober regional building tradition.
Description
On a rectangular ground plan constructed miller's dwelling in white plastered brick. The dwelling, with a long side facade parallel to the dike, has one storey and a hipped roof under a hipped roof with red tiles. The front and rear facades have a broad fascia board on profiled wooden gutter brackets. The end east and west facades have along the roof edge broad decorated drip mouldings on wooden cleats and in the ridge a finial. The frames of the doors and windows are of wood. Apart from a simple wooden door, the long front and rear facades are entirely blank.
The eastern side facade is, as an exception, executed above a high plastered plinth in dark red brick in Flemish bond and has on the north side a wooden extension of one storey under a half-hipped roof with on the south side a wooden door.
The facade has on the left a tall window with six-pane glazing bars and in the ridge a small rectangular blind window, both with straight mortared roll mouldings. Between the storeys are two wall anchors.
The western side facade has on the ground floor a small two-light window and in the ridge a round arch window with steel glazing bars. The finial is topped by an iron weather vane.
Valuation
Simple late nineteenth-century miller's house partly situated on the dike slope of the Wipperskade, as a historical-functional component of the eighteenth-century mill behind it, of general interest on account of situational, cultural-historical and ensemble value.
