Omschrijving onderdeel 9: MUUR met POORTEN behorende bij de historische buitenplaats Oldruitenborg.
Tussen het Benthuis en het bouwhuis langs de Groenestraat als afscheiding van de stad staat een muur XVIII; bakstenen muur met rollaag (gedeelte tussen oranjerie en bouwhuis) en ezelsrug (deel tussen oranjerie en Benthuis); oostelijk naast de oranjerie de officiële inrijpoort, XVIII: twee geblokte kruispijlers met iets uitkragende zandsteenblokken, die alterneren met metselwerk; geprofileerde zandstenen dekplaten; smeedijzeren hekvleugels met spijlen en eenvoudige florale en geometrische motieven, ook XVIII. Een tweede poort halverwege de oranjerie en het Benthuis, min of meer gecentreerd op de oude hoofdingang van het huis: brede, eveneens geblokte pijlers met uitspringende pilasters aan straatzijde; eenvoudig smeedijzeren traliehek; het muurdeel tussen deze poort en het Benthuis heeft aan de straatzijde steunberen; in het muurdeel tussen de oranjerie en het bouwhuis aan de straatzijde een wapensteen Sloet met bijbeltekst, XVI, zandsteen. Naast oranjerie, bouwhuis en Benthuis een rond manspoortje met houten deur.

Description of component 9: WALL with GATES belonging to the historic country estate Oldruitenborg.
Between the Benthuis and the bouwhuis along the Groenestraat as a city boundary stands a wall 18th century; brick wall with roll moulding (section between orangery and bouwhuis) and saddle-back (section between orangery and Benthuis); to the east beside the orangery the official entrance gate, 18th century: two blocked cross-pillars with slightly projecting sandstone blocks, which alternate with masonry; profiled sandstone coping; wrought iron gate wings with railings and simple floral and geometric motifs, also 18th century. A second gate halfway along the orangery and the Benthuis, more or less centred on the old main entrance to the house: broad, likewise blocked pillars with projecting pilasters on the street side; simple wrought iron trellis gate; the wall section between this gate and the Benthuis has buttresses on the street side; in the wall section between the orangery and the bouwhuis on the street side a coat of arms stone Sloet with Bible text, 16th century, sandstone. Next to orangery, bouwhuis and Benthuis a small round mansion gate with wooden door.
