Inleiding
THEEKOEPEL bij het op de hoek gelegen laat 19de eeuwse woonhuis ('Kerkzicht'), als onderdeel van het complex. De theekoepel, is in 1923 van een erker voorzien.

De aan de Vecht achter het woonhuis gesitueerde theekoepel is een rechthoekig in grauwe baksteen in staand verband opgetrokken gebouwtje onder een kalotvormig tentdak met een kubusvormige beëindiging, gedekt met asfaltpapier. Aan de Vechtzijde (zuidzijde) komt in deze gevel een driezijdige houten erker op schoren, aan drie zijden voorzien van een venster met door roeden ingedeeld bovenlicht. Aan de twee tuinzijden (noord- en oostzijde) zijn openslaande deuren aangebracht. De westgevel bevat een tweelichts draaivenster. Inwendig meet de koepel, inclusief de erker 2.80 meter bij 4.32 meter. De wanden zijn gestuct en het plafond bestaat uit houten kraaldelen.
Waardering
Het gebouwtje is van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuur- en architectuurhistorische waarde als voorbeeld van een in baksteen opgetrokken negentiende-eeuwse theekoepel met een houten erker uit 1923 aan de Vechtzijde. De theekoepel is waardevol als herinnering aan de 19de eeuwse bewoningsgeschiedenis van de elite die zich aan de Vecht in een riant herenhuis vestigden en als uitdrukking van het eigentijdse sociale leven. Description
The tea house situated at the Vecht behind the dwelling house is a rectangular building erected in grey brick in running bond under a dome-shaped tent roof with a cubic termination, covered with asphalt paper. On the Vecht side (south side) this facade has a three-sided wooden oriel window on brackets, provided on three sides with a window with a fanlight divided by glazing bars. On the two garden sides (north and east side) French doors are placed. The west facade contains a two-light casement window. Internally the dome, including the oriel window, measures 2.80 metre by 4.32 metre. The walls are plastered and the ceiling consists of wooden bead sections.
