Omschrijving onderdeel 2: HISTORISCHE TUIN- EN PARKAANLEG.
De historische tuin- en parkaanleg van de historische buitenplaats De Colckhof dateert vermoedelijk uit het begin van de 19de eeuw. Sinds het ontstaan wordt de vrijwel driehoekige aanleg begrensd door de Nieuwe Wetering, Hubertsallee en de Zuthemerweg. Op de Hottingerkaart uit 1783 is van een tuin- of parkaanleg nog niets waar te nemen, maar op kadastrale kaarten uit ca. 1810 zijn waterpartijen zichtbaar. Vermoedelijk is de parkaanleg in de eerste decennia van de 19de eeuw tot stand gekomen, toen ook het huis werd uitgebreid. Het park werd is deze periode verbonden met de aanleg van de naastgelegen buitenplaats Den Alerdinck. De Colckhof was vanaf 1801 in het bezit van mevrouw C.A. Booghmans-van Sonsbeeck, wiens broer eigenaar was van Den Alerdinck. Op de topografische kaart van 1858 is het karakter van de nog bestaande aanleg duidelijk aanwezig. Het ontwerp voor de aanleg wordt met zekere regelmaat toegeschreven aan J.D. Zocher sr., maar bewijzen hiervoor zijn er niet. De tuin- en parkaanleg wordt doorsneden door een lange laan waarin halverwege een bocht ligt. Aan de laan is de portierswoning gesitueerd. Halverwege de laan liggen het hoofdgebouw (huis De Colckhof), de bouwhuizen, de hooiberg en de houtschuur. In de tuin bij de bouwhuizen staat een getordeerde natuurstenen zuil met kapiteel (19de-eeuw?). Voor het huis ligt een rond gazon (met daarin drie perken en een 18de-eeuwse natuurstenen sokkel met gietijzeren siervaas) waar de vanaf de lange laan afgeleide oprijlaan omheen loopt. De oprijlaan wordt geflankeerd door smalle gazons met rododendrons, heesters en bomen. Ten noorden van het gazon ligt een lange slingervijver en een kleine niervormige vijver. Vanaf het huis zijn over de vijver en tussen het geboomte door drie zichtassen naar het omliggende park geprojecteerd. Vanuit het park zijn ook veel fraaie doorkijkjes op het omringende landschap gecreëerd. In dit westelijke deel liggen parkweides die omgeven worden door een parkbos waardoor onverharde paden slingeren. Ten oosten van de lange laan liggen door bomen omgeven parkweiden. De meest noordelijke weide is omgeven door coulissen die het een 'oneindige' vorm geven. Langs de zuidoostelijke rand staat een meidoornhaag. Alle weiden worden afgesloten door houten hekken. Meer zuidwaarts wordt de moestuin met kas, tuinmuur en restanten van een koude bak, die van rond de eeuwwisseling dateert geheel omgeven door een slingervijver. De zuidoostelijke rand van de buitenplaats bestaat uit een meer open gebied waarin een tuinmanswoning en een tuinmuur liggen. Dit gedeelte is omstreeks 1919 naar ontwerp van architect J. Voorde met waterpartijen en open delen in landschapsstijl ingericht, met de bedoeling dat er ooit een villa zou worden gebouwd. Wel werden in dit deel omstreeks 1919 een tuinmanswoning en een tuinmuur gebouwd. Binnen de aanleg zijn twee grenspalen (arduinsteen) uit 1872 die op de grens tussen Heino en Zwollekerspel staan opgenomen. Een grenspaal staat bij de hekpijlers aan de Zuthemerwerg, de andere bij de splitsing tussen de Zuthemerweg en de Hubertsallee.

The historical garden and park layout of the historical country estate De Colckhof is presumed to date from the early 19th century. Since its creation, the roughly triangular layout has been bounded by the Nieuwe Wetering, Hubertsallee and the Zuthemerweg. On the Hottinger map from 1783, no garden or park layout is yet visible, but on cadastral maps from around 1810, water features are visible. The park layout was presumably created in the first decades of the 19th century, when the house was also expanded. The park was connected in this period with the layout of the adjacent country estate Den Alerdinck. De Colckhof was from 1801 in the possession of Mrs C.A. Booghmans-van Sonsbeeck, whose brother was the owner of Den Alerdinck. On the topographic map of 1858, the character of the still-existing layout is clearly present. This part was laid out around 1919 according to the design of architect J. Voorde with water features and open areas in landscape style, with the intention that a villa would eventually be built. Within the layout are two boundary stones (ardennes stone) from 1872 which are located on the border between Heino and Zwollekerspel.
