Inleiding
Bakstenen SCHOORSTEEN, oorspronkelijk behorende bij een glazen kas die in 2006 op de historische buitenplaats Hindersteyn te Langbroek is geplaatst. De schoorsteen is gelegen op het terrein van een kwekerij en heeft geen functie meer. Het bouwwerk is opgetrokken omstreeks 1930-1940 in rationele vormen.
Omschrijving
De forse, circa 15 meter hoge schoorsteen is opgebouwd uit gemetselde radiaalstenen en heeft een iets ingesnoerde kroon met sobere baksteenornamentiek. De stookopening bevindt zich aan de westelijke zijde. Het metselwerk, dat aan de bovenzijde bijeen wordt gehouden met ijzeren banden, vertoont scheurvorming.
Waardering
De schoorsteen is van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuurhistorische waarde als bijzondere uitdrukking van de sociaal-economische en typologische ontwikkeling van de tuinbouw in Noord-Brabant, vanwege de gaafheid en vanwege de typologische en functionele zeldzaamheid in het zuiden van het land.

Introduction
Brick CHIMNEY, originally belonging to a glass greenhouse which was placed in 2006 on the historic country estate Hindersteyn at Langbroek. The chimney is situated on the grounds of a nursery and no longer serves any function. The structure was built around 1930-1940 in rational forms.
Description
The substantial chimney, approximately 15 metres high, is constructed from radial bricks and has a slightly constricted crown with sober brick ornamentation. The stoking opening is on the western side. The brickwork, which is held together at the top with iron bands, shows cracks.
Valuation
The chimney is of general importance because of its cultural-historical value as a special expression of the socio-economic and typological development of horticulture in North Brabant, because of its completeness and because of its typological and functional rarity in the southern part of the country.
