Omschrijving onderdeel 2: PARKAANLEG, bestaande uit a. lanen en rotonde b. park c. moestuin d. bos, akkers en weiland ad a.: de aanleg van het complex is "opgehangen" aan vijf rechte lanen, XVIII, die op één punt samenkomen: de rotonde; deze omgeeft een grasperk en is bestraat met kasseien; de pal naar het zuiden lopende laan is de Huijbergsedreef, vervolgens -met de klok mee- de Bergsedreef (westzuidwest), de Nieuwedreef (noordwest), de Wouwse- of Beukendreef (noordoost) en Moerkantsedreef (oostzuidoost); de Huijbergsedreef is aan het einde van de negentiende eeuw direct ten zuiden van het huis omgeleid via een bocht naar het westen, om zodoende een klein landschappelijk parkje te kunnen realiseren; verder zijn er na het midden van de negentiende eeuw nieuwe lanen (radiale lanen en dwarsverbindingen) aangelegd, die echter (net) niet in het centrum beginnen; dit zijn onder andere de Duinendreef en de Petrusdreef. De Moerkantsedreef is de toegangslaan tot het complex en verbindt het centrum met de openbare weg (de Plantagebaan); deze dreef heeft een klinkerverharding; de andere lanen zijn onverhard of hebben enige puinverharding. Laanbeplantingen met verschillende boomsoorten. Bij verschillende panden bovendien historische (half)verhardingen van het erf. ad b.: ten zuiden en oosten van het landhuis, in de hoek gevormd door de Huijbergsedreef en de Moerkantsedreef, ligt een landschappelijk park, XIX, met oude solitairbomen en parkweiden, die verlevendigd zijn met transparante coulissen, singels en boomgroepjes; dit landschap gaat via enkele akkers geleidelijk over in het bosgebied. ad c.: ten noordoosten van het landhuis, achter een grasveld met enkele solitairen en in de hoek tussen de Moerkantsedreef en Wouwsedreef ligt de moestuin, XIX; achter de moestuin liggen akkers en weien als overgang naar het bosgebied; in de tuin het tuinmanshuis met een stuk tuinmuur (zie 13). ad d.: naast de erven van de diverse opstallen bestaat de rest van het complex uit bospercelen waarin enkele kleine weilandjes en akkers, waarvan de twee grootste achter de moestuin en direct westelijk aan de Petrusdreef liggen.
