Omschrijving onderdeel 3: koetshuis met schuur Van Limburg Stirumweg 2a;
3.1 KOETSHUIS (XIXbc; ontwerper onbekend): witgepleisterd min of meer vierkant gebouw van één bouwlaag onder omgaand schilddak met grijze dubbel gegolfde pannen; symmetrische voorgevel (noord) met drie rechte dubbele koetsdeuren, waarin gietijzeren grilles met bronzen deurknoppen in de vorm van een (jachthonden)kop; middelste deur in middenrisaliet, die boven de goot doorloopt en gedekt is met een zeer flauw hellend zadeldakje; in de gevel (met wapen Bieruma-Oosting) halfrond gesloten hooiluik; westgevel, waarachter een woongedeelte, ook -als verdieping- gedeeltelijk doorlopend boven de goot; hierop plat dak; beneden meerruits ramen, op verdieping lichtgetoogde zesruits ramen; voor het koetshuis bestrating van IJsselsteentjes in visgraatmotief. 3.2 Achter het koetshuis een SCHUUR: kleine gele baksteen, één bouwlaag onder overstekend zadeldak met rode dubbel gegolfde pannen; de noordgevel (koetshuiszijde) gepleisterd; aan westgevel een aanbouw onder lessenaarsdak, dat onder een knik doorloopt vanuit het zadeldak. In het INTERIEUR is van belang de gave indeling met originele betegeling en paardenboxen.

Description of component 3: coach house with barn Van Limburg Stirumweg 2a;
3.1 COACH HOUSE (second half of 19th century; designer unknown): whitewashed more or less square building of one storey under surrounding hipped roof with grey double-corrugated tiles; symmetrical front facade (north) with three straight double coach doors, with cast-iron grilles with bronze door knobs in the form of a (hunting dog) head; middle door in central projection, which extends above the gutter and is covered with a very gently sloping gabled roof; in the facade (with Bieruma-Oosting coat of arms) semi-circular closed hay door; west facade, behind which a residential section, also - as an upper floor - partially extending above the gutter; thereupon flat roof; below multi-pane windows, on upper floor light-coloured six-pane windows; in front of the coach house paving of IJsselsteentjes in herringbone pattern. 3.2 Behind the coach house a BARN: small yellow brick, one storey under projecting gabled roof with red double-corrugated tiles; the north facade (coach house side) plastered; on west facade an extension under a lean-to roof, which extends with a bend from the gabled roof. In the INTERIOR the intact layout with original tilework and horse boxes are of importance.
