inleiding:
PASTORIE uit 1889 van de R.K. kerk St. Genoveva. Mogelijk is het ontwerp van architect L. Hezemans.
Voor- of zuidgevel aan de Sint Genovevastraat. De pastorie ligt rondom vrij op het perceel, dat aan de noordkant aan de Dommel grenst. Jaartalsteen in achtergevel.

De pastorie bestaat uit een bouwlaag onder mansardedak tussen tuitgevels.
Het dak is gedekt met leien. De voorgevel die uit vijf traveeën bestaat is symmetrisch van opzet. Ze bevat hoekpilasters, middenrisaliet met op de verdieping een rondboogvenster en bekroning van een trapgevel, verder een kroonlijst, siermetselwerk in fries en een hardstenen plint. De muuropeningen met zes- en achtruits-schuifvensters zijn voorzien van profielstenen met een korfboog aan de bovenkant en natuurstenen aanzet- en sluitstenen.
Links van de pastorie bevinden zich in de eenlaags bijbouw onder met pannen gedekt schilddak de dienstvertrekken. Waaronder de keuken. De gevels van de pastorie zijn opgetrokken uit handgevormde baksteen, gemetseld in kruisverband. De pastorie heeft een rijk interieur uit de bouwtijd, met onder andere marmeren schoorsteenmantels en gepolychromeerde stucplafonds, een kamer en suite en serre met veelkleurige tegelvloer. In de deuren gezandstraald en geëtst glas. Zwart marmeren gangvloer met vierkante wit marmeren tegeltjes. Drie paneelsdeuren.
In de aangelegde tuin, druivenkas, visvijver en diverse oudere bomen uit de bouwtijd, waaronder plataan, sterappel, peer en diverse beuken.
