Inleiding
Op de hoek met de Oudebrugsteeg in 1903-1904 gerealiseerd KANTOORGEBOUW naar een ontwerp in Art Nouveau-stijl van J.W.F. Hartkamp in opdracht van B. Sanders namens de fa. B. Sanders & Zoon. In het gebouw bevonden zich verder nog een bierkelder en een fotografisch atelier op zolder.
Omschrijving
Geheel in natuursteen opgetrokken voor- en zijgevel: basement in graniet, parterre in hardsteen, verdiepingen in zandsteen. Pand bestaat uit souterrain, begane grond, drie verdiepingen onder een schilddak.
Gevel Damrak vier vensterassen breed. In rechter vensteras bevindt zich de ingang geplaatst in een portaal en toegankelijk via een hardstenen uit zes treden bestaande stoep. De ingang van het portaal is getoogd. Portaal inwendig nog voorzien van een tegellambrizering. Houten deur naar vestibule met tracering in Art Nouveau-stijl. Links naast de ingang groot rondboogvormig venster met Art Nouveau-tracering. De vensterboog wordt geaccentueerd door een natuurstenen omlijsting op gebeeldhouwde consoles. Rechtertravee toont erker over twee verdiepingen met bovenliggend balkon achter een ajour bewerkte borstwering tussen gestileerd gebeeldhouwde natuurstenen posten. De erker rust op zware consoles. Erkervenster ter hoogte van tweede verdieping toont Art Nouveau-tracering. De gekoppelde rondboogvormige vensters op de derde verdieping tonen een omkadering in Moorse trant. Dit geldt ook voor het balkonvenster, welke ook nog voorzien is van een Art Nouveau-tracering. De natuurstenen overkragende gootlijst is op regelmatige afstand voorzien van waterspuwers in de vorm van gestileerd gebeeldhouwde drakenkoppen. In de top een Vlaamse gevel met Moorse vensteromlijsting en Art Nouveau venstertracering. Daarnaast (rechts) een dakkapel met spits torentje.
Gevel Oudebrugsteeg vier vensterassen breed. Gelijkstraats rondboogvormige ingang met ijzeren sierhek naar souterrain. Rondboog wordt geaccentueerd door een natuurstenen omlijsting op gebeeldhouwde consoles. Twee vensters aan weerszijden met Art Nouveau-tracering en omlijstingen op gebeeldhouwde consoles. De bovenlichten van de meeste vensters in de zijgevel zijn nog voorzien van het oorspronkelijke glas-in-lood. De vensteropeningen ter hoogte van eerste en tweede verdieping rechthoekig; ter hoogte van derde verdieping rondboogvormig en voorzien van omlijstingen in Moorse trant. Onder de gootlijst waterspuwers. In de top een Vlaamse gevel. Daarnaast een dakkapel met spits toelopend torentje.
Interieur. Het interieur toont nog diverse oorspronkelijke onderdelen zoals glas-in-lood, houten lambrizeringen en tegelwerk.
Waardering

Description
Front and side facade entirely built of natural stone: basement in granite, ground floor in hardstone, storeys in sandstone. The property consists of a basement, ground floor, three storeys beneath a hipped roof.
