Inleiding
BOERDERIJ met dwarsgeplaatst voorhuis op L-vormig grondplan, in 1902 gebouwd met mogelijk een oudere kern, in Ambachtelijk-traditionele bouwtrant, onderdeel van het boerderijcomplex Gaaglust. Voor de boerderij bevinden zich twee leilindes. De boerderij maakt onderdeel uit van de agrarische lintbebouwing langs de Gaag. Aan de achterzijde van het erf grenzen de weilanden van de Kralinger polder.
Omschrijving
Boerderij op L-vormige plattegrond, bestaande uit een dwarsgeplaatst voorhuis op rechthoekig grondplan afgedekt met een schilddak en een achtergelegen bedrijfsgedeelte onder zadeldak, gedekt met gesmoorde Hollandse pannen. De gepleisterde gevels van het woongedeelte zijn uitgevoerd in blokverband, het bedrijfsgedeelte is opgetrokken in grauwe baksteen in kruisverband. De gevels zijn voorzien van een gepleisterde plint en het woongedeelte heeft een houten bakgoot op klossen. De voorgevel op het zuiden heeft drie keldervensters met luiken en diefijzers, waarboven zich twee zesruits schuiframen met enkelruits bovenlichten bevinden. Links een wat lager geplaatst schuifvenster. In de kap twee eenvoudige dakkapellen met kroonlijst.
De westelijke zijgevel heeft in het woongedeelte een dakkapel zoals voornoemd. In het muurvlak twee T-vensters onder decoratieve lijsten en muurankers. In het bedrijfsgedeelte een nieuwe deur en een driezijdige uitbouw met rozetankers, drie schuiframen met glas-in-lood bovenlichten, voorzien van persiennes onder rood-gele strekken. De aanzetstenen zijn gebosseerd, de sluitsteen heeft een diamantkop. De gevel bezit voorts een stichtingssteen, tussen twee deuren met bovenlicht en strekken zoals in de uitbouw, vijf ijzeren tienruits stalramen onder getoogde strekken en nieuwe inrijdeuren. In de kap bevindt zich een dakkapel met hooiluiken onder een keperboogvormig tweeruits bovenlicht.
De symmetrische achtergevel heeft drie ronde ramen waarvan de onderste twee een vierruits roedeverdeling hebben en een tweeruits bovenlicht op de begane grond. De achtergevel is voorts voorzien van muurankers en windveren.
De oostelijke zijgevel heeft in het bedrijfsgedeelte zes ramen zoals in de westgevel, verder een zesruits en negenruits schuifvenster, met daartussen een gestapelde glasdeur onder een enkelruits bovenlicht. In de topgevel van het bedrijfsgedeelte een zespas. In de overgang naar het woonhuis een vierkant raam met diefijzers onder een zelfde strek als in de westgevel. In het woongedeelte, met aangekapt lessenaardak, twee kelderramen, een schuifvenster zoals in de voorgevel en in het dakschild een dakkapel zoals voornoemd.
De indeling van het interieur van het woongedeelte is goeddeels oorspronkelijk bewaard gebleven. In de werkkeuken bevindt zich onder meer nog een ingetimmerde kamer met schouw en tegels.
Waardering
De boerderij is van algemeen belang uit cultuurhistorisch en architectuurhistorisch oogpunt als goed bewaard gebleven voorbeeld van een boerderij uit het begin van de twintigste eeuw met oudere kern, met een voor de streek kenmerkende hoofdvorm waarbij de toepassing van natuurstenen blokken in de voorgevel opvallend is.
De boerderij heeft ensemblewaarde als historisch-functioneel hoofdonderdeel van het boerderijcomplex Gaaglust.
De boerderij is stedenbouwkundige van belang als beeldbepalend onderdeel van de oorspronkelijke, agrarische bebouwing aan de Gaag.
De boerderij is gaaf in hoofdvorm en in onderdelen.

Description
Farmhouse on L-shaped plan, consisting of a transversely placed front house on rectangular plan covered with a hipped roof and a rear business section under a gabled roof, tiled with dampened Dutch tiles. The plastered facades of the residential section are executed in block bond, the business section is built in grey brick in running bond. The facades are provided with a plastered plinth and the residential section has a wooden gutter on brackets. The south-facing front facade has three basement windows with shutters and window bars, above which are two six-light sash windows with single-light fanlights. On the left a somewhat lower positioned sash window. In the roof two simple roof dormers with cornices.
The western side facade has in the residential section a roof dormer as mentioned above. In the wall two T-windows under decorative mouldings and wall anchors. In the business section a new door and a three-sided projection with rose anchors, three sash windows with leaded fanlights, provided with shutters under red-yellow stretches. The quoins are rusticated, the keystone has a diamond-shaped top. The facade moreover has a foundation stone, between two doors with fanlight and stretches as in the projection, five iron ten-light stable windows under arched stretches and new driving-in doors. In the roof is a roof dormer with hayloft windows under a herringbone-shaped two-light fanlight.
The symmetrical rear facade has three round windows of which the lower two have a four-light glazing bar division and a two-light fanlight on the ground floor. The rear facade is moreover provided with wall anchors and wind braces.
The eastern side facade has in the business section six windows as on the west facade, further a six-light and nine-light sash window, with between them a stacked glazed door under a single-light fanlight. In the gable of the business section a six-pane ventilation opening. In the transition to the residential house a square window with window bars under the same stretch as on the west facade. In the residential section, with an attached lean-to roof, two basement windows, a sash window as on the front facade and in the roof panel a roof dormer as mentioned above.
