Inleiding
WAGENSCHUUR uit het laatste kwart van de negentiende eeuw, behorende tot het boerderijcomplex 'Árendshoeve'. De schuur is in Ambachtelijk-traditionele trant gebouwd en ligt ten zuiden van de boerderij met de noklijn iets gedraaid ten opzichte van die van de stal. De ingang van de schuur bevindt zich aan het erf.
Omschrijving
Wagenschuur, opgetrokken in gele IJsselsteen op een rechthoekige plattegrond onder een met gesmoorde oudhollandse pannen gedekt overstekend zadeldak voorzien van windveren en eenvoudige goten op houten klossen. In de noordgevel (zijde erf) bevindt zich een groot kozijn met dubbele opening, waarvan de dubbele deuren zijn verdwenen. Rechts van deze inrijpoort een opgeklampte deur onder tweeruits bovenlicht. In het muurwerk bevindt zich ter hoogte van de balklaag een rij schootankers. In de zuidgevel een laaggeplaatst venster. De westelijke kopgevel heeft een hooiluik, de oostelijke kopgevel een klein vierkant venster.
Het interieur van de schuur bestaat uit een enkelvoudige ruimte afgesloten met een enkelvoudige balklaag waarboven een hooizolder.
Waardering
De wagenschuur is van algemeen belang vanwege cultuurhistorische en architectuurhistorische waarde als karakteristiek voorbeeld van een wagenschuur uit het laatste kwart van de negentiende eeuw.

The shed is built in the Craft-traditional manner and is located south of the farmhouse with the ridge line slightly rotated in relation to that of the stable. Cart shed, constructed in yellow IJssel brick on a rectangular ground plan under a gabled roof covered with darkened traditional Dutch tiles provided with weathervanes and simple gutters on wooden corbels. In the north facade (farmyard side) is a large window frame with double opening, of which the double doors have disappeared. To the right of this entrance a clamp-fastened door under two-light fanlight. In the masonry at the level of the beam course is a row of wall anchors. In the south facade a low-placed window. The western end gable has a hay door, the eastern end gable a small square window.
The interior of the shed consists of a single space enclosed with a single beam course above which a hay loft.
