De historische PARKAANLEG van de buitenplaats "Voordaan" is rond 1850 gerealiseerd in landschappelijke stijl naar ontwerp van Jan Copijn. Het park om het huis wordt omgeven door een aanleg met een slingervijver, die deels door de later aangelegde villawijk heenloopt. De vijver strekt zich uit van het zuidoosten via een westelijke kromming naar het noordoosten. Het gedeelte ten zuiden van de vijver, rond het huis, heeft een open karakter door de aanleg van een groot grasveld. Op dit veld staan oostelijk van het huis een solitair, een rij bomen langs de wetering en een coulisse ter hoogte van de gebogen oprijlaan, die naar het huis voert en eindigt in een keerpunt ten westen van het huis. De brug over de wetering is opgetrokken in decoratief metselverband met Amsterdamse Schoolstijl-kenmerken. Westelijk van het huis zijn bossages geplant, bestaande uit heesters. Het gebied gelegen rond de slingervijver, achter het huis, is vanuit het huis bereikbaar via een voetgangersbrug en vormt het hart van de villawijk. The historical PARK LAYOUT of the country estate "Voordaan" was realized around 1850 in the picturesque style according to the design of Jan Copijn. The park around the house is surrounded by a layout with a winding pond, which in part runs through the later developed villa district. The pond extends from the southeast via a western curve to the northeast. The section south of the pond, around the house, has an open character due to the layout of a large lawn. On this lawn, east of the house stand a solitary tree, a row of trees along the watercourse and a screen coulisse at the level of the curved driveway, which leads to the house and ends in a turning point west of the house. The bridge over the watercourse is built in decorative bond work with Amsterdam School style characteristics. West of the house, copses have been planted, consisting of shrubs. The area located around the winding pond, behind the house, is accessible from the house via a pedestrian bridge and forms the heart of the villa district. The planting consists mainly of oaks and beeches and lower copses. With the exception of the main building and park layout, the remaining components are of subordinate importance.
