Omschrijving
Inleiding.
BOERDERIJ, voormalige stroopfabriek/varkensstal, aan het eind van de vorige eeuw opgetrokken in een Ambachtelijk-traditionele bouwtrant. Het geheel vrijstaande bouwlichaam is gelegen aan de overzijde van de Hoefstraat, iets geïsoleerd van de rest van het complex. In het voormalige stroopfabriekje werd op ambachtelijke wijze uit bieten stroop vervaardigd. De inventaris is nog grotendeels aanwezig. Het westelijke gedeelte van het pand is tevens gebruikt als varkensstal; hiervoor is een betonnen varkensuitloophok aangebouwd.
Omschrijving.
Rechthoekig gebouw van één bouwlaag op een rechthoekige grondslag met muren in schoon metselwerk onder een zadeldak, gedekt met Hollandse pannen. Aan de westzijde zijn uitloophokken in beton aangebouwd en twee opgeklampte deuren. Aan deze zijde zijn twee vensters dichtgemetseld. Toegang aan de zuidzijde via een houten opgeklampte deur. Aan deze zijde bevindt zich tevens nog een dichtgezette deur en een venster. Intern is nog een groot gedeelte van de inventaris die voor het vervaardigen van bietenstroop benodigd is, bewaard gebleven; onder andere de ketels waarin de bieten gekookt werden.
Waardering.
De voormalige stroopfabriek/varkensstal is van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuurhistorische waarden die het bezit als bijzondere uitdrukking van een typologische en sociaal-economische ontwikkeling. De voormalige stroopfabriek/varkensstal heeft architectuurhistorische waarden vanwege de bijzondere samenhang tussen exterieur en interieur. Boerderij en bijgebouwen hebben ensemblewaarden vanwege de wijze van verkaveling van de verschillende onderdelen en de markante ligging in een open landschap. De voormalige stroopfabriek/varkensstal is van belang vanwege de architectonische gaafheid van exterieur en interieur.

FARMHOUSE, former syrup factory/pigsty, built at the end of the last century in an Arts and Crafts-traditional building style. The entirely detached building mass is located on the opposite side of the Hoefstraat, somewhat isolated from the rest of the complex. In the former little syrup factory, syrup was manufactured in a traditional manner from beetroot. The inventory is still largely present. The western section of the building was also used as a pigsty; for this purpose a concrete pig run has been built on.

Rectangular building of one storey on a rectangular ground plan with walls in ashlar brickwork under a gabled roof, covered with Dutch tiles. On the west side run boxes in concrete have been built on and two clamped doors. On this side two windows have been bricked up. Access on the south side via a wooden clamped door. On this side there is also a blocked up door and a window. Internally a large part of the inventory still needed for the manufacture of beetroot syrup has been preserved; among other things the cauldrons in which the beetroot was cooked.
