Inleiding.
DUBBELWOONHUIS uit tweede helft van de 19de eeuw.
Het linkse gedeelte is het oudste mogelijk nog uit het derde kwart van de 19de eeuw. De kern van het huis is echter veel ouder. Op het erf twee schuren, waarvan één 19de eeuws is en een langsdeel heeft en de ander uit ca. 1900 is.
Omschrijving.
Het dubbele woonhuis heeft een symmetrische voorgevel met eenvoudige kroonlijst en een cementen plint. Het zadeldak is gedekt door grijze Oudhollandse pannen liggend tussen tuitgevels. Beide voordeuren zijn geflankeerd door een zesruits schuifvenster. Het opgaande metselwerk bestaat gedeeltelijk uit IJsselsteen. De muuropeningen hebben hanenkammen in twee kleuren baksteen. In het metselwerk van de linker tuitgevel is een oudere vorm van het huis zichtbaar. Hieruit blijkt dat oorspronkelijk het huis veel kleiner was. Zowel in hoogte als in de diepte is het vergroot. De contouren van het vlechtwerk van de oude gevel zijn nog steeds goed zichtbaar. De langsdeelschuur heeft een rieten schilddak. De andere schuur heeft een zadeldak belegd met pannen. Twee leiperen tegen de zijgevel.
Waardering.
Het dubbele woonhuis met beide opstallen is van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuurhistorische waarde als specimen van de sociaal-economische ontwikkeling van de landbouw en het wonen en is een gaaf voorbeeld van de typologische ontwikkeling van het woonhuis op het platteland. DOUBLE DWELLING HOUSE from the second half of the 19th century.
The left section is the oldest possibly still from the third quarter of the 19th century. However, the core of the house is much older. On the yard two barns, one of which is 19th century with a side section and the other dates from around 1900.
Description.
The double dwelling house has a symmetrical front facade with simple cornice and a cement plinth. The gabled roof is covered with grey Dutch tiles lying between spout gables. Both front doors are flanked by a six-pane sash window. The masonry consists partly of IJssel brick. The wall openings have lintels in two-coloured brick. In the masonry of the left spout gable an older form of the house is visible. This shows that originally the house was much smaller. Both in height and in depth it has been enlarged. The outlines of the timber framing of the old facade are still clearly visible. The side-section barn has a thatched hipped roof. The other barn has a gabled roof covered with tiles. Two slate gutters against the side facade.
Valuation.
The double dwelling house with both outbuildings is of general importance because of the cultural-historical value as a specimen of the socio-economic development of agriculture and dwelling and is a sound example of the typological development of the dwelling house in the countryside. As such it is rare.
