Omschrijving
SCHUUR bij herenhuis, gebouwd omstreeks 1860. De schuur is opgetrokken in een roodbruine baksteen op een trasraam van roodbruine klinkers, afgesloten door een gepleisterde cordonlijst. Het zadeldak, gedekt met een zwart geglazuurde Friese golfpan, heeft decoratieve windveren en een goot met decoratieve gootlijst. In de zuidgevel twee ijzeren roosvensters en vijf kleine gevelopeningen (voor duiven) met een dwarsgeplaatste baksteen. In de oostgevel twee opgeklampte deuren met rollaag en vier ijzeren roosvensters, en een rij in de gevel gemetselde mannenkopjes (afkomstig van een oude Groninger borg). In de noordgevel een licht getoogd staand venster met ijzeren kruisroeden, een licht getoogd negenruits venster, vier kleine gevelopeningen (voor duiven), en in de gevel gemetselde mannenkopjes en sierstenen.

BARN with mansion, built circa 1860. The barn is built in reddish-brown brick on an ashlar base of reddish-brown clinker bricks, closed off by a plastered cornice. The gabled roof, covered with black glazed Frisian curved pan tiles, has decorative wind vanes and a gutter with decorative gutter moulding. In the south facade two iron grille windows and five small openings (for doves) with a crosswise placed brick. In the east facade two clamped doors with drip moulding and four iron grille windows, and a row of brick heads in the facade (originating from an old Groningen stronghold). In the north facade a slightly arched tall window with iron cross-bars, a slightly arched nine-light window, four small openings (for doves), and brick heads and ornamental stones in the facade.
