Omschrijving
BAARHUISJE uit 1890 opgetrokken op een rechthoekige plattegrond in een rode baksteen. Het zadeldak dat is gedekt met een zwart geglazuurde Friese golfpan, heeft een bakgoot (vernieuwd). De beide topgevels hebben een betonnen afdekrand. De entree bevindt zich in de oostgevel en bestaat uit een opgeklampte deur binnen een houten kozijn met kroonlijstje. Boven de deur een grote, staande gevelsteen binnen een omlijsting van gele baksteen, waarop staat: "Gesticht 1890, kerkvoogden T. Hofman, B. Har. Notabelen P. J. v. Griethuijsen, predikant, E. Hoving, P. Dertien, G. Schepel, hoofd der school." Aan weerszijden van de deur een ijzeren rondboogvenster met roedenverdeling onder een rollaag van gele baksteen. In de noord- en zuidgevel een kleine vensteropening met houten rooster en rollaag; in de topgevel aan de westzijde een dichtgezet roosvenster met rollaag van gele baksteen.

Description
MORTUARY CHAPEL from 1890 erected on a rectangular plan in red brick. The gabled roof covered with black glazed Frisian pantiles has a gutter (renewed). Both gable ends have a concrete coping. The entrance is located in the east gable and consists of a clamped door within a wooden frame with small cornice. Above the door a large, tall facade stone within a border of yellow brick, on which is written: "Established 1890, church wardens T. Hofman, B. Har. Notables P. J. v. Griethuijsen, minister, E. Hoving, P. Dertien, G. Schepel, head of school." On either side of the door an iron round-arched window with glazing bars under a roll course of yellow brick. In the north and south gables a small window opening with wooden grill and roll course; in the gable end on the west side a blocked roof window with roll course of yellow brick.
