HISTORISCHE TUIN- EN PARKAANLEG behorende tot de buitenplaats Kasteel Croy. De aanleg bestaat uit een gaaf bewaarde van oorsprong middeleeuwse infrastructuur gevormd door een dubbele rechthoekige omgrachting met singels rondom. Tussen de binnen- en buitengracht liggen weilanden; de binnengracht aan de noord- en westzijde is in de 20ste eeuw gedempt. Oorspronkelijk was het kasteel vanaf de oostzijde middels het poortgebouw toegankelijk, maar in ca.1790 is de oprijlaan in noordelijke richting verlegd waardoor aswerking is verkregen. Deze loodrecht op de ingang in de noordgevel geprojecteerde laan (beplanting van jonge bruine beuk) wordt geflankeerd door oude eikenbossen; in het bos een met naaldbomen (Douglas) omzoomd wandelpad; de oostzijde wordt afgesloten door een beukenhaag. Het kasteeleiland is ingericht met een deels omhaagde rechthoekige moestuin ten oosten van het kasteel; voorplein met keienbestrating; voor de boerderij een rij lindebomen. Gaaf bewaarde relatie buitenplaats - omgeving met landerijen, bosjes en eikenlanen.

HISTORIC GARDEN AND PARK LAYOUT belonging to the country estate Kasteel Croy. The layout consists of a well-preserved originally medieval infrastructure formed by a double rectangular moat with embankments around it. Between the inner and outer moat are pastures; the inner moat on the north and west sides was filled in in the 20th century. Originally the castle was accessible from the east side by means of the gate building, but around 1790 the drive was diverted in a northerly direction thereby obtaining axial alignment. This drive projected perpendicular to the entrance in the north facade (planting of young European beech) is flanked by old oak woods; in the wood a walking path bordered by coniferous trees (Douglas fir); the east side is closed off by a beech hedge. The castle island is laid out with a partly hedged rectangular kitchen garden to the east of the castle; forecourt with stone paving; in front of the farmhouse a row of lime trees. Well-preserved relationship between country estate and surroundings with agricultural land, copses and oak avenue.
