Omschrijving
BRUG MET TOEGANGSHEK behorende tot de buitenplaats Oud-Poelgeest. De toegang tot de oprijlaan in de as van het huis wordt bepaald door een zeer groot 19de-eeuws toegangshek bestaande uit twee natuurstenen geblokte pijlers bekroond door een zandstenen vaas versierd met groteskenkoppen en festoenen; waartussen een dubbel spijlenhek met een gekrulde bovenligger en voluutvormige zijstukken. Het hek staat op een gemetselde brug met gebogen keermuren, natuurstenen afdekplaten waarop een eenvoudige balustrade.

Description
BRIDGE WITH ACCESS GATE belonging to the country estate Oud-Poelgeest. The entrance to the access road in the axis of the house is determined by a very large 19th-century access gate consisting of two natural stone jointed piers crowned by a sandstone vase decorated with grotesque heads and festoons; between which a double bar gate with a curled upper member and volute-shaped side pieces. The gate stands on a mortared bridge with curved retaining walls, natural stone coping plates on which a simple balustrade.
