Inleiding
Boerderij van het langhuistype (dwarsdeelvariant) gebouwd in Traditioneel Ambachtelijke stijl in het midden van de vorige eeuw met een deels oudere kern.
In de eenvoudige voortuin, omgeven door een beukenhaag met een smeedijzeren hekje, zijn drie leilindes geplant. De boerderij staat met de nokrichting loodrecht op de weg, in het buitengebied van de gemeente.
Omschrijving
Boerderij opgetrokken in ijsselsteen met vlechtingen onder een rietgedekt, boven de achtergevel afgewolfd zadeldak. De voorgevel (oost) is een tuitgevel, met centraal geplaatste entree onder een bovenlicht met levensboom met aan weerszijden een zesruits en een tienruits venster. Op de verdieping zijn twee negenruits vensters geplaatst, in de top een kleiner vierruits venster. De muuropeningen in de voorgevel zijn versierd met een strek in rode baksteen. De linker zijgevel (zuid) van het woongedeelte bevat een nieuwe entree, vier meerruits vensters behangen met luiken en een rondboogvormig stalvenster. Het stalgedeelte van deze gevelzijde is beschoten en voorzien van mestluiken. De achtergevel met twee halfronde stalvensters en een deur, is eveneens beschoten. De rechter zijgevel (noord) heeft ter plaatse van de stal een beschot waarin twee staldeuren geplaatst zijn en hoge dubbele inrijdeuren onder een opgelicht dakschild (stal ook vierruits vensters). Het woongedeelte bezit vier van luiken voorziene negenruits vensters, twee rondboogvormige vensters en een vernieuwde entree.
Interieur In het woonhuis van de boerderij zijn enkele interieuronderdelen bewaard gebleven zoals een pomp, een 18de-eeuwse schouw met Delfts tegeltableau, een plint van Delftse tegels met voorstellingen, een appeloven en een bedstee boven de kelder. In de stal zijn de oude gebinten aanwezig en resten van de voormalige waterzolder.

Farmhouse built in IJssel-stone with basketwork under a thatch-covered, above the rear facade outswung gabled roof. The front facade (east) is a spout gable, with centrally placed entrance under a fanlight with Tree of Life flanked on either side by a six-pane and a ten-pane window. On the upper storey two nine-pane windows are placed, in the top a smaller four-pane window. The wall openings in the front facade are decorated with a course in red brick. The left side facade (south) of the dwelling section contains a new entrance, four multi-pane windows hung with shutters and a rounded-arch stable window. The stable section of this facade side is rendered and provided with manure hatches. The rear facade with two half-round stable windows and a door is likewise rendered. The right side facade (north) has at the location of the barn a render in which two stable doors are placed and high double barn doors under a raised roof panel (barn also four-pane windows). The dwelling section has four nine-pane windows provided with shutters, two rounded-arch windows and a renewed entrance.
Interior In the dwelling house of the farmhouse several interior components have been preserved such as a pump, an 18th-century fireplace with Delft tilework tableau, a plinth of Delft tiles with representations, an apple oven and a bed-alcove above the cellar. In the barn the old roof trusses are present and remains of the former water-loft.

The farmhouse is of general importance because of its cultural-historical value as an example of a long-house with transverse section characteristic of the Alblasserwaard.
