Inleiding
BOERDERIJ in oorsprong van het type hallehuis daterend uit het derde kwart van de negentiende eeuw. Het pand is, waarschijnlijk rond 1900, uitgebreid met een dwars geplaatst voorhuis en een naar één zijde eveneens dwars uitgebouwde stal. Hierdoor is een samengestelde plattegrond ontstaan, die een L-vorm met een T-vorm combineert. De kopgevels van de stallen en de aan het binnenerf gelegen zijgevel zijn in de jaren zestig van de twintigste eeuw beschoten. De boerderij is wat verder van de weg gelegen en bereikbaar via een eigen, onverharde weg. Bij het voorhuis staan twee imposante kastanjebomen. Aan de straatzijde een hoogstam fruitboomgaard.
Omschrijving
De boerderij is opgetrokken in donkerrode baksteen. De drie zadeldaken zijn met riet gedekt. Het voorhuis heeft vlechtingen in de topgevels. De hoofdentree bevindt zich in de voorgevel, geflankeerd door links één en rechts twee zesruits schuifvensters. In de linker zijgevel bevindt zich een deur met bovenlicht en zowel op de begane grond als op de verdieping een vierruitsvenster. In de rechtezijgevel zijn de vensters vernieuwd. Het voorste gedeelte van het achter het voorhuis gelegen oorspronkelijke hallehuis is bij de woning getrokken. Hiertoe is het dakschild van de linker zijgevel opgelicht t.b.v twee vierruitsschuifvensters. Voorts in deze gevel enkele houten stalvensters. In de rechter zijgevel twee eveneens vernieuwde vensters en dubbele hoge houten inrijdeuren met een klinket en drie vierruitsvenstertjes. De deels beschoten achtergevel heeft een deur en enkele houten mestluiken. In de top een luik en een klein venster. Een houten pieron siert de top. De achtergevel van de oorspronkelijke stal ligt in één lijn met de zijgevel van de latere dwarsgeplaatste stal. Hierin enkele ijzeren rondboog stalvensters en houten mestluiken. In de achtergevel van de dwarsgeplaatste stalschuur bevinden zich een houten staldeuren. In de aan het binnenerf gelegen zijgevel van deze schuur een kleine en een grote houten staldeur, een hooizolderluik met een steekkap en diverse raampjes met stalen vensters.
Interieur In het voorhuis twee kamers met een schouw met handbeschilderde tegels waarop verschillende afbeeldingen (ondermeer man met paard en vogelkooi). Van het oorspronkelijke woongedeelte resteert nog een woonkamer met balkenplafond en alkoof. In de stal nog de stenen vloer van een karnmolen.
Waardering
De boerderij is van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuurhistorische en architectuurhistorische waarde als gaaf voorbeeld van een in de loop van de tweede helft van de negentiende eeuw tot een samengestelde vorm gegroeide boerderij in Ambachtelijk-traditionele stijl en vanwege de gaafheid van hoofdvorm, materiaalgebruik en detaillering.

FARMHOUSE originally of the hall-house type dating from the third quarter of the nineteenth century. The building was, probably around 1900, extended with a transversely placed front house and a barn likewise built transversely to one side. This created a composite floor plan combining an L-shape with a T-shape. The gable ends of the barns and the side facade facing the inner courtyard were rendered in the nineteen-sixties. The farmhouse is situated somewhat further from the road and is accessible via its own unmade road. By the front house stand two imposing chestnut trees. On the road side a standard-stem fruit orchard.
Description
The farmhouse is built in dark red brick. The three gabled roofs are thatched with reeds. The front house has basketwork in the gable tops. The main entrance is located in the front facade, flanked by one six-pane sash window on the left and two on the right. In the left side facade is a door with fanlight and both on the ground floor and on the upper storey a four-pane window. In the right side facade the windows have been renewed. The front part of the original hall-house situated behind the front house has been incorporated into the dwelling. To this end the roof panel of the left side facade was raised to accommodate two four-pane sash windows. Further in this facade several wooden stable windows. In the right side facade two likewise renewed windows and double-height wooden barn doors with a latch and three four-pane window lights. The partly rendered rear facade has a door and several wooden manure hatches. At the top a hatch and a small window. A wooden pion ornaments the top. The rear facade of the original barn lies in line with the side facade of the later transversely placed barn. Herein several iron rounded-arch stable windows and wooden manure hatches. In the rear facade of the transversely placed barn-shed wooden stable doors. In the side facade of this shed facing the inner courtyard a small and a large wooden stable door, a hay-loft hatch with a roof cap and various small windows with steel frames.
Interior In the front house two rooms with a fireplace with hand-painted tiles depicting various images (among others a man with a horse and a birdcage). Of the original living area there remains a living room with a beamed ceiling and an alcove. In the barn still the stone floor of a churn mill.
Valuation
The farmhouse is of general importance because of its cultural-historical and architectural-historical value as an intact example of a farmhouse in Traditional Craftsman style that developed into a composite form over the course of the second half of the nineteenth century and because of the integrity of its main form, material use and detailing.
